So two weeks ago, I got a corporate gig to do at 9:50 AM on a Tuesday in San Diego. So I say to Mike, yes, yes, people are there. They're basically open vessels and receptacles for comedy at 9.5 in the morning, only in the San Diego area and ocean parts of ocean side in Vista, California. So I say, well, how long is the drive to San Diego? Well, the answer is it's about two hours except for you can't leave at 7.45. You're going to sit in traffic all the way. It's going to take you four hours. So then there's this thing where you have to leave at 5.45. But then when we leave at 5.45, we will get there in two hours. But then we'll be at the gig at 8 a.m. and it's at 9.5 and I'll be fucking exhausted. So we'll get a room and then I'll go upstairs and take a nap for 25 minutes and then I'll come down and do the thing. It's this whole sort of factor in thing, but it fucks with your brain, man. So we had, the gig was, you're going to do a gig with Dennis Prager at 8 o'clock. And before that, you're going to be in Upland, California, which is 40 miles away.
And that 40 miles away, you have to be there at 6.30.
So I say, all right, it's, it's now, it's Saturday, 6.30, 2.10.
We should make great time. It's Saturday night. We're going down the 2.10. We're not going through Hollywood. We're not going through downtown.

We're going around the backside. Less populated part of town.

Right. So we can make 40 miles in 40, 45 minutes. There's no Saturday night. Nobody's going there. We'll make it. So I tell Mike, I'll be at my house at 5.30. We'll give ourselves an hour to get there. Well, we sit in traffic all the way out there. And then at a certain point, Mike gets on the phone with the guys and he's like, where are you? We're in Monrovia.
