Brian (1:32)

What's up, bankers?

Matt (1:35)

Greetings, bankers.

Brian (1:39)

Oh, is everybody doing?

Matt (1:43)

Ten more sprint races next year, baby. Ten.

Ten more sprints. Ten more sprints. Ten more sprints.

Brian (1:53)

Yep. Yep.

I'm loving it. Fill me up, daddy. Fill me up. Full of sprints.

Matt (2:04)

Sprint all over my face, daddy.

Brian (2:06)

Sprint all over my face, daddy.

Matt (2:10)

Everyone's mad about the more sprint races. Listen, it's okay to be mad about the Monoco sprint races, but let's not be that annoyed that we're getting more sprints next year. I mean, I'm loving... Sprints usually rip. It's only when they do sprints at bad race tracks that sprints suck. Don't let the recent sprint BS blind you to the brilliance of sprints.

Brian (2:35)

I think, no, but no, where they've chosen to have some of these sprints, war criminal behavior, having a sprint in Monaco.

Matt (2:49)

Yes.

Brian (2:50)

Having a sprint in Bahrain and Qatar and Abu Dhabi, instead of fucking Spa, fucking Baku, United, you fucking Austin.

Matt (3:07)

Yeah.

Brian (3:08)

Austin. Apparently, Turkey's lit.

China was good. Lewis won in China. That was fucking awesome. Right. What are they doing? Well, you know what it is?

Matt (3:22)

It's all these racetracks. Everyone wants to sprint.

Brian (3:25)

Oh, hey.

Matt (3:25)

Yeah.

Brian (3:26)

Vegas. Of course. Viva Las Vegas. I mean, those are the towns that you. And hey, you know what? At least they didn't really, you know, they could have really stepped on our nuts and did a sprint at Monaco and Madrid.

SPEAKER_7 (3:43)

At least they didn't do that.

Brian (3:44)

It could have. Guys, it could always be worse. It could always be worse.

They could have put it in Mexico, honestly.

I mean, you know, my other thing, put it where the fucking fans are. You know what I'm saying? There's like three people that live in Qatar. Three fucking people.

Matt (4:05)

Yeah, those stands are always empty. I mean, and who knows that there will even be a race there. But you know, we're obviously, we're talking about the news.

Brian (4:12)

No, no, no. He's on top of it. He's on top of it.

Matt (4:16)

Kind of a bold move to put Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as the first two races of next year. I mean, like how, how starry eyed are they about what, what the world's going to look like come March of 2027 I want to live in the world that these guys are all living in where we're racing in the Middle East in March of 2027

I hope that they're right.

Brian (4:37)

In what, four or five months?

Matt (4:40)

Yeah, exactly.

I hope and pray that they are right. But obviously we're talking about the schedule for next year that came out. There is a lot to discuss today. There's obviously the new schedule. We're getting a sprint race in Monaco, absolutely wild. Ten sprint races coming in 2027 There's more news in the ADUO world. This Honda, Aston Martin, Mohammed bin Sulaim situation is heating up because Total Wolf is throwing his hat into the ring, and so has Laurent Mechies. People are getting behind this effort. We're going to talk about all things where the ADUO has absolutely failed this year. Max is racing against 100 Carters, and a little bit of gossip on the other end of things. But this is all happening on this episode of The Red Flags, part of the Vox Media Network. But let's start this latest news. The 2027 Formula 1 season has been announced.
