Marvel Zombies Winter Soldier Details, Marvel BS Metre : WG Highlight

Kirk (0:00)

And we're back. That was a good time to ad break there.

Dylan (0:03)

Power outage.

Kirk (0:04)

Yeah.

First time ever on the GeekVerse Podcast, someone came in and just completely shut her down. But yeah.

Dylan (0:14)

We're trying to replicate what it's like to be on a Matt Reeves shoot.

Kirk (0:21)

Hopefully, it goes better than how that just went, but we're back.

I'm getting fucking Discord updates. You know how Discord goes like Halloween themed in October?

Dylan (0:33)

You can turn it off. She's like freaking hate that.

Kirk (0:35)

Okay. It's been going off non-stop in my ear right now, and it's driving me crazy.

Dylan (0:39)

It drives me. That little echo-y sound with the ping.

Kirk (0:42)

No, no, no. It's supposed to be a ghost or something. Yeah.

Dylan (0:45)

It is. Yeah. You can turn it off.

Kirk (0:46)

Don't worry.

Dylan (0:47)

Yeah.

Kirk (0:47)

Okay. Thank you. I will do that after this. Okay. So we are back for Marvel Zombies.

Dylan (0:56)

Dumbass.

Kirk (0:56)

You like Marvel Zombies, didn't you? I wasn't on those reviews.

Dylan (1:00)

I did.

Kirk (1:00)

Unfortunately, I watched it after the fact, but I really enjoyed it also. So do you want more?

Maybe a special. I feel like we just talked about this actually, the BS meter on if this was going to happen, a like a special specifically for Marvel Zombies. Here we are actually now talking about the detail. This is a little part two, I guess.

Dylan (1:17)

Okay. Go for it.

Kirk (1:20)

Okay. Perfect.

We're talking about the rumor. Now we're actually talking about it. The details for the Marvel Zombies, The Winter Soldier, The Special. I don't think that's the actual title. It's terrible if that is.

Dylan (1:33)

Hopefully not. Yeah.

Kirk (1:37)

Apparently, Sebastian Stan is returning to Voice which is a big thumbs up for me. Features Frank Castle, Zombie, Natasha Romanoff and War Machine. Supposedly, it will tie into Episode 1 of Zombies where Eric Selvig got in touch with Nova Cole and ended up a zombie in the Quinjet.

Dylan (2:00)

Yeah.

Kirk (2:00)

I mean, what is going on tonight?

What is happening today? Are you here to shut down our stream? Because Travis just did that.

Dylan (2:09)

I know. Because I dropped a comment, and then the stream end, he's like, all right, bye. And the stream end, I'm like, what the heck?

Kirk (2:15)

That's weird.

Dylan (2:15)

But I just got home and I was like, look at all these guys doing a GV cast. So the calendar says Weekly Geek. This is weird. Yeah.

Kirk (2:23)

Are you here to give your thoughts on Batman?

Dylan (2:24)

Join us if you want.

I just wanted to hop in here and the stream. No, hit the X in the top right, not the end screen.

Kirk (2:35)

No, no, no.

Dylan (2:36)

I'm not crashing too hard or anything. I'll just say, you know, Batman, I like Batman. That was a good time. So we're talking about Marvel now. Oh, Marvel. All right. All right.

Kirk (2:45)

Well, we came a little late.

Dylan (2:46)

Have fun. Have fun.

Kirk (2:47)

See you later, boys.

Somebody get these bangers out of here. That's all I want to say. Oh, gosh.

Dylan (2:55)

I bet he was really careful to not hit that button.

Kirk (2:58)

Yeah. I mean, he didn't even leave right away. He just took the headphones off.

Dylan (3:01)

You can tell that he was really slowly moving towards the end.

Kirk (3:04)

Gingerly. I had a near miss once. I accidentally joined the Marvel Alliance room while they were doing their live stream. I actually almost hit the end stream. That would have been horrendous because I didn't even enter the actual chat. But yeah.

Breaking the fourth wall over. Back to the Marvel Zombie Special, The Winter Soldier.

Dylan (3:24)

Yeah.

Kirk (3:24)

Are you seeking more zombies content? And do you think a special is a good angle for this? I listed off a couple of little details there. If you want to chime in.

Dylan (3:34)

I think this was discussed on Weekly earlier this week that I was not on. You were not on either, right? That was a Taylor Travis joint?

Kirk (3:41)

Maybe.

Dylan (3:42)

Yeah.

Kirk (3:42)

I feel like I did talk about this a couple of weeks ago. So it's...

Dylan (3:46)

I just thought I saw something about there being like three specials confirmed or something like that. So I'm guessing this is like one of those three, or maybe there's just one that's announced for now, and then the other ones will follow. So I'm going to find that episode. We'll figure that out at some point. But yeah, for what we got here, I mean, you know, The Winter Soldier is one of the finest movies in the MCU. So heck, calling something also The Winter Soldier, and you know, that lineage, it's probably, that bodes well. It's a good sign.
