Hello, and welcome to Episode 1000 Yes, that's right. One thousand of the official establishtherun.com podcast. My name is Adam Levitan. I am one of the co-founders here at ETR, and it is time for the show You Cannot Survive Without, Market Monday.
Each week, I examine the biggest risers and fallers in Best Ball ADP, and discuss whether I'm buying or selling these prices at their new prices. The idea is simple. Give you an idea of what the market is thinking about players, and also how I'm thinking about them. Before we get into Market Monday today, need to quickly hit on two things. First, a thousand episodes of this show since we launched ETR in July of 2019 Crazy. Easily could have been like 10 episodes, but thanks to you guys tuning in, I know many of you have listened to all 1,000 episodes. You've put up with my sick jokes on the solo pods. You fought through the epic battle of our generation, Silva vs. Technology, and so we genuinely, genuinely appreciate it. I know people wanted us to do a special show for episode 1,000. You know, that's not really us. Like, what we're going to do? Put a party hat on Silva and sing to him? So no, no special episode. Instead, we did a long montage of best moments from the show. It's actually hilarious. Shout out to the video team who did a great job. Put it on Twitter, at Adam Levitan. So, if you love the show, you should definitely check that out again. The montage on Twitter is at Adam Levitan. Second thing before we get into it here today, for anyone who watched or listened to my solo pod last week about health stuff, feels like I should give a quick update here.
Had the surgery on July 14th, went really easy, was really smooth. I was around 80% recovered from the surgery within a couple of days, and now I feel 100%.
Also, the pathology report came back clean, which is great news. So, I'll just be monitored with ultrasounds and blood work going forward. I'll probably talk about this a little bit more on actual solo pods that are coming in late August, September, and through the season. But their response to last week's show was just so overwhelming for me. It got hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of messages from people with incredible stories. So, thank you for that.
All right. Anyways, back to what's really important in life, best ball. Going to start with risers from the last seven days. First one is an important one. Malik Nabers up 3.5 spots on DraftKings to 37 overall. I know this is the second or third time I've talked about Malik Nabers on Market Monday, and we're going to talk about him again tomorrow on the News and Rankings Change show with Silva. But I do think that the Malik Nabers stuff is one of the most important fantasy stories of this season. So I wanted to hit it here again. The latest news on Nabers is an interesting update because it's actual news. Malik Nabers did not start training camp on the active slash PUP list, which is important because now he's no longer eligible to be placed on reserve slash PUP ahead of the regular season. Once the player goes on reserve slash PUP, he is ineligible to play for the first four games. In other words, the Giants' decision here strongly suggests that they expect Nabers to play sometime before week four. Now, it does not mean that his knee is 100 percent. It does not mean that he's going to start practicing anytime soon. It does not mean he's a lock to play week one. It does not mean he's going to perform at the elite levels that he's shown in his career.
Because we know that he needed an ACL repair, a full meniscus repair. We know he had a cleanup procedure a couple months ago to remove scar tissue because he was suffering from stiffness.
I get all that. But look, I think we're being too stubborn if we do not adjust on this Malik Nabers news. He would have been a top 12 player for us this season if healthy. The fact that Nabers is not starting camp on Active slash PUP affects his early season outlook. But to me, it speaks to his late season outlook even more. Like, if Nabers can practice here sometime in August and play sometime in September, well, then I'm way more confident that he can actually be 90 or 95% of himself by November, December, when all the money is on the line. And the Jets play at Detroit in week 16 and at Dallas in week 17 Those are great spots. So when I talked about this a few weeks ago, I talked about getting Nabers in the 40s and how that was appetizing. We've bumped his rank, I think we were at like 38 or 39 We're back up now at 30th overall on full PPR DraftKings. There's downside on that. I mentioned how significant the injury was. He could aggravate him something. He could be a shell of himself. I get all that.
