Hello, and welcome to episode 980 of the official establishtherun.com podcast. My name is Adam Levitan. I am one of the co-founders here at ETR, and it is time for the show you cannot survive without Market Monday.
Each week, I examine the biggest risers and fallers in Best Ball ADP and discuss whether I'm buying or selling these players at their new prices. The idea is simple. Give you an idea of how the market is thinking about players and also how I'm thinking about them. Reminder that if you do not yet have the ETR Best Ball product, I think you're playing at a disadvantage. Obviously, I'm biased, but I know how hard we grind every shred of information to ensure our uploadable rankings are as accurate as possible. It's why the guys who won both the DraftKings Best Ball and Underdog Best Ball flagships last year, Sam Shepard and Sam Sherman, $2 million each. It's why they drafted with the ETR ranks. Our Best Ball product is just $60 and renews 365 days from your purchase date. So head to establishtherun.com for details. Also for my true grinders out there, if you're putting in Best Ball volume, you should check out the Solver Draft Assistant link to that in the Best Ball tab on ETR.
All right, going to start with the risers from the last seven days. First one I want to talk about is Mark Andrews up 1.9 spots on DraftKings to 135 overall. He's up even steeper on Underdog.
I thought it was a pretty big vote of confidence from the Ravens to Mark Andrews this off season. Isaiah likely gone, Charlie Kohler gone. Only additions at tight end were withered veteran Derm Smythe, Round 4 pick Matthew Hibner, and Round 5 pick Josh Cuevas.
Considering Andrews is entering his age 31 season, fell down sharply to 1.23 yards per route run last year, and the state of the wide receiver room, I was honestly a bit surprised they didn't add more at tight end. They didn't even seem to make a play for David and Joku, who just signed relatively cheaply with the Chargers Monday morning. So, maybe free agent Jonu Smith ends up here in Baltimore, but as it sits now, this is a pretty huge opportunity for Andrews. And the prices on Raven's past game are a bit depressed after Lamar Jackson logged that injury ravaged 2025 season.
I don't think it's crazy. I actually think it's likely that Mark Andrews is the number two target in this offense behind Zay Flowers. And that's pretty exciting given an ADP of 134.7. So, yeah, it could go bad if Declan Doyle is a disaster or if Mark Andrews is just straight washed. But I don't think I want to play scared here. I think Andrews can be a nice hit relative to cost, even as that cost is rising. So we're about 10 spots ahead of ADP in the ranks right now on Mark Andrews. And I like that.
Second riser is Alvin Kamara, up 12.7 spots on Underdog to 185 overall.
I think this Alvin Kamara situation is one of the sneaky, important ones right now. The question is simple. Will Alvin Kamara be on the Saints come week one? And this is important because yes, Kamara is old now. He's entering his age 31 season. He's been one of the worst runners in the NFL lately. But he's still an excellent pass catcher who commands targets. And that definitely matters.
After the Travis ETN signing $24 million guaranteed at the outset of free agency, I thought Kamara would be gone. You know, Nick Underhill also hinted he thought a retirement or a cut on Kamara. Kamara himself has hinted at retirement before. I obviously don't know him at all, but just from hearing him talk strikes me as a dude who understands there's more to life than football, getting out of the NFL healthy and being free to like do a J while snowboarding in Montana.
I kind of thought that struck me as appealing to him. Now, things have changed a bit lately. Kamara has been talking like he really wants to play. He wants to stay in New Orleans. He wants to share the backfield with Travis ETN. But I think it's important to note, the Saints aren't talking like that as much. Coaches, the front office, they're basically giving non-answers when asked about Kamara.
It's a messy spot for them. He's a Saints legend, seems like a great dude, but my gut is the Saints kind of want him to retire. And the contract situation isn't clean either. They would take a cap hit if they cut him, but I believe they would actually save cash if they do it post June 1 Bottom line though, I want to be high Travis ETN. I can't get really high on Travis ETN if Alvin Kamara is there. The pass game threat is just too high. But I'm going to stick with my gut for now, which is the Saints are going to find a way to move on from Kamara somehow. And that means I'm taking ETN at his ADP of 35 overall, and I'm fading Kamara at this rising ADP.
