Welcome to The Secret Room Unlocked, the premium edition of the podcast. I am your host, Susie Lark, here to guide you through this week's episode.

I want to thank everyone who chose to upgrade their free trial to a full-blown membership. Thank you so much to our new members, Yvonne, Maddie, Gina, Travis, Tussie, Nalissa, Cassie, Marzina, Stephanie, Melissa, Ashley, Amanda, Jill, and Ruth. Without your support, The Secret Room would not be possible. These memberships are the reason Ben and I and the whole Secret Room team can make this podcast happen, and every membership helps this entire show exist. So thank you for choosing to support us. Lucy is back from Sex Work Is My Side Hustle for an update that spans all the way back to include her story about sleepwalking as well. Lucy joined us most recently to share the conclusion of her story about her arrangement with Old Doc and the confusing and bewildering situation with the trackers being left on her car as things got tense with her and her sugar daddy.

Lucy and I share an update on her sleepwalking if she still uses the cameras to see what she can find out about what she is doing when she thinks she's in bed. We talk about some comments from Instagram after her episode aired, and also some lessons she learned early on, not just within Sex Work, but even some lessons she learned early on about consent from a casual dating encounter that she brought with her to this day.

As we conclude our Sex Work mini series, this episode, like the others, contains discussions with adult themes. Please decide if this episode is right for you. Let's get into it. Lucy, welcome back again to The Secret Room Unlocked.

Lucy (2:02)

Thank you. Thank you for having me back.

Susie Lark (2:04)

I don't know, drug you kicking and screaming? Is that the case? I don't know.

Lucy (2:08)

Um, no.

Susie Lark (2:11)

Okay. Okay.

Lucy (2:12)

Of course not.

Susie Lark (2:12)

I know. I know.

Lucy (2:13)

Glad to be here.

Susie Lark (2:14)

I know it did take a little convincing to get you back.

Lucy (2:18)

Maybe a little. Yeah. Or just some time, a lot of time for me to mull it over.

Susie Lark (2:23)

You know, that's only because you thought you were uninteresting, which is complete fucking bullshit, which we all knew. It's just convincing you of that.

Lucy (2:32)

Uh, yeah. Yeah, I guess. I mean, yeah, that's part of it.

Susie Lark (2:36)

You're right.

Lucy (2:37)

I don't think it's interesting, and I don't know why other people would, and I also don't like the sound of my voice. So yeah, I guess a little coaxing happening. Sure.

Susie Lark (2:45)

Okay. Well, bullshit to all of the above.

Lucy (2:47)

Thank you. That's very sweet.

Susie Lark (2:49)

Your voice is great, and you are very interesting. And you know we all want the juicy details.

Lucy (2:57)

So here I am. I'm here for it. Here I am.

And I appreciate the compliment. And if it was a lie, I appreciate the lie. But I'm here for it. I'm here.

Susie Lark (3:09)

It is not a lie. It is all compliments. It's not a lie. No, I'm glad you came back. And I think you did downplay the volume of Side Hustle. It was a lot more than I was expecting.

Lucy (3:23)

Well, it's a lot more even than what I said. There's so much. It's like, how do I decide what things to say?

Susie Lark (3:30)

Maybe as you kind of live your life through it, it doesn't seem like much of a thing.

Lucy (3:35)

I don't know.

Susie Lark (3:36)

Right. You made it seem like it was a one-off.

Lucy (3:38)

You're right. I think you become a little desensitized.

Susie Lark (3:41)

You made it seem like it was a one-off, but it really has been this...

I don't know. Did you mention the time span? Like how long did you and old doc on and on and off again? Off again, on again? How long?

Lucy (3:55)

Such a good question. I might actually have to look that up. If you don't mind if I put my phone really quick.

Susie Lark (4:02)

Go for it.

Lucy (4:03)

Okay. Let me see. Just because I save every text message, so I can just actually look at our first text message. Hold on.

Probably in maybe 2021 or 22

Susie Lark (4:19)

Okay. It's like four years.

Lucy (4:23)

Yeah, but on and off, but yeah. And I could be wrong because the texts maybe are not telling me exactly what I wanted. There are some deleted I can tell because all the ones at the beginning are all images for some reason, which I know we didn't start out with images. So I know it's before this at least, but yeah, it's been years.
