In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove.
In the beginning, when Jack Boley declared Let There Be House, He opened our minds to the possibilities of expression. And with that one line, he made us believe all things are possible, and that no man could put us under. Four words that moved the nation, four words that shook the floor, four words that seeped into my bones and made me deeper than the deepest sea and higher than the tallest mountains. Let There Be House, and house music was born.

What a tune to open this week's Let There Be House podcast with. It's one of those, when I heard it, I thought, that's going to sound amazing at the start of the show. It's by Roland Leesker. It's called What You Need. And that is the mysterious Eastern Force edit. How you doing? Hope you well. Glen Horsborough here for the next 60 minutes. I'm feeling hunky dory, just to let you know. Really looking forward to getting some brand new music down your ears over the next hour or so. I've got brand new tunes from Paul Woolford and Secondcity coming up as well as Beave, Kolter, Weiss and Alex Hosking, Michael Gray's take on Happy People by Static Revenger. You'll recognize that one soon as it comes in. I've also got the brand new forthcoming release from Let There Be House Records called Sunlight by S3Rgy N3Ira. That is available to pre-order and pre-save right now. I've also got my 2026 remix of Hideaway by Delacy, which has been going down a proper storm when I've been playing out and about. This, though, is brilliant. What a voice this lady has. You'll all remember from her 1996 massive anthem, Free. Well, she's teamed up with Crush Club. Of course, I'm talking about Ultra Naté. This is called It's Coming and It's Brilliant.
I saw it on the promo a few days back and I thought you guys are going to love this one. It's by Groove Disciple featuring Pauline Henry on the vocals. It's called What You're Doing To Me. Now, you might not believe me when I tell you, the original of this tune is 25 years old.
How mad is that? Just think about it. Time flies.
Static Revenger, This Is Happy People, 2026, Michael Gray on the remix.
The original of this one, almost 30 years old. I'm really sorry, by the way. I don't want to make you feel old listening to the show. This week, that is my take on De Lacey, Hideaway, and I'm soon going to be putting that on my Bandcamp page. So DJs listening, you'll be able to grab that and get it to your sets and play it out to your parties, crowds, your podcasts, your radio shows. Thank you for all the support on my other edits. I didn't realize I've got 19 done already. If you haven't heard them, go over to Glen Horsborough on Bandcamp. You can grab them and download them from there. Right still to come, I've got the awesome Eden Prince remix of JJ Tribute by Asher. We all love that one. Another one taking you back to the old school. I've also got brand new Paul Woolford and Secondcity with Signs. I've got Beave with a record called 1997 and this is doing massive bits at the moment. Kolter seems to be the new kid on the block. This is his tune, it's called Trapped. Again, it samples the old Colonel Abraham's tune from 1985 under the same name. But I think you'll love this. If you've not heard it yet, crank up your speakers, this one's gonna bump.
You're hearing it again. I absolutely love Paul Woolford's piano chords. They, honestly, I don't know about you, but when I hear them, they're so euphoric, and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I just absolutely love them, no matter what tune he does. I don't know what it is.
It's like it's hard to describe what comes through the speakers and how it makes you feel.
That tune is actually from a few years ago, and I heard it at the weekend, and obviously the title means quite a bit to me at the moment, and I had it on repeat Saturday, and I thought, yeah, I've got to play it in the show this week. And it's the last tune of Let There Be House podcast. It's by Rommie, and it's called Enjoy Your Life, Paul Woolford's Rework. That's all I've got time for on this week's show. Before I go, I just want to say thank you so much for all the messages and all the comments across my socials about my treatment and stuff like that. I want to let you know that I'm feeling probably the best I've felt since going through this whole process. I know I don't do many videos on my socials, but I post some pictures and I'm having treatment every three weeks. So if you want to keep up to date on what I'm going through and what's happening, by all means, if you're not already, you can follow me on Facebook, Instagram.
