Kalshi, trade what's next. So every week we visit with our buddy Shea Dixon from On3, the Bengal Tiger. And we'll do that today because he's got updates on both Easton Royal and Ahmad Hudson and maybe another target for the class of 2027 that could be leaning toward the Tigers. We'll get to that also an interesting comment from Lane Kiffin about first down success rate and a quarterbacking expert reveals and answers the question that a lot of us have is a real concern over Sam Leavitt's interceptions from this past weekend against Louisiana Tech. That's all on today's episode. But let's start with our recruiting update as we do with Shea Dixon from On3, the Bengal Tiger and where else would we start but with Ahmad Hudson because the number one tight end or number two tight end in the country, the five star football player, the number one basketball player in Louisiana has been in Baton Rouge the last two weekends and my goodness was it an impactful weekend as Ahmad Hudson was there on the sideline pregame and Ahmad Hudson was kind of rubbing elbows with Boosie even during the game. They were sitting by each other in the stands. So the fact that you had this celebrity in the state, there's a video floating around the interwebs right now of Ahmad Hudson meeting Boosie and turning to the camera, just amazed that Boosie knew who he was clearly made an impact. So we got an update from Shea on what's going on with Ahmad Hudson, committed to LSU, but Nebraska's still pushing hard.
Shea Dixon (3:10)
Clemson game, Lane Kiffin comes down the Tiger walk and gives Ahmad Hudson the hug and the crowd. Ahmad Hudson being the number two tied into the country, committed for football and basketball, number one player in the state in basketball, number two in football because of Easton Royal, but pretty dominant kid out of Ruston. So you get that game one, game two, Lane's walking down the Tiger walk with Boosie, then Hudson and then, you know, hanging out on the field with Boosie. So in this Nebraska versus LSU thing, where will he end up? He's committed to LSU and Nebraska's trying to flip him in both sports. Will he ultimately, you know, stay with LSU or flip to Nebraska?
Matt, a couple of weeks ago, he was still unsure of exactly if he would make it to the first game. Now he's made it to another game, two games, the second one being, hey, I was down there for the first, coming back for the second. The on-field product is there. Trades is what him and Winnie Watkins are leading the team in target shares. Trades had a huge game in La Tech when it mattered, you know, when it was so close, he was converting a number of third downs. And then off the field, you've got Lane showing you love every weekend, Boosie hanging out with you. So I don't know what the counter to that would be for Nebraska, but I would, I would imagine so far, if you're worried about, hey, what's your five-star tight end, going to do the first two weekends of the season, he's been in the entire stadium, hanging out with the head coach and the most famous local rapper. So I think all is well.
