SPEAKER_1 (0:00)

I don't give a f**k.

Patrick Bet-David (0:01)

There's one guy named Logan Paul. Whether you like him or not, people are talking about him. He's everywhere.

Logan Paul (0:06)

I'm everywhere. When I picked up a video camera, and I found things that I actually loved, it didn't feel like work. That part came natural to me.

Patrick Bet-David (0:14)

Is he selling you a dream? Is he shaping your mind? Hell no.

Logan Paul (0:17)

Pat!

Patrick Bet-David (0:18)

Nothing.

Logan Paul (0:18)

Pat! I worked hard doing things that I hated.

Patrick Bet-David (0:21)

You've had a few setbacks in your career. You've had certain, and a lot of them were public. How different is the last Logan Paul going through a setback than the one from 10 years ago?

Logan Paul (0:30)

The world's changing so fast, man.

Patrick Bet-David (0:32)

When you guys were competing, were you like, punking and pushing him around, like kicking his ass a little bit?

Logan Paul (0:36)

It wasn't a competition. I was smoking him.

Patrick Bet-David (0:39)

How do you view content creation? What is the science of content creation for you?

Logan Paul (0:45)

It's interesting, because there is a science behind it. It's all art. They're all brush strokes on the canvas. It just changes.

Patrick Bet-David (0:51)

If you would box and do one of these big boxing matches, you got to, who would you fight?

Logan Paul (0:55)

Something's gonna happen.

Something's gonna happen, that's for sure. To Pat's point, I'm incredible. I really am.

I've chosen to share my story with the world. The story has ups, the story has down. None of it f**king matters. We're on a floating rock, spinning in the middle of an infinite universe. If you think for one f**king second, anyone actually cares about what you're doing, you're wrong.

Patrick Bet-David (1:18)

Were you like this 10 years ago? Or did you have to develop this mindset?

Dylan Bet-David (1:22)

If you and Jake fought, who would win?

Patrick Bet-David (1:24)

Whoa!

SPEAKER_7 (1:26)

What's this guy trying to do?

Logan Paul (1:28)

Can I keep it real?

Patrick Bet-David (1:28)

Keep it real.

Logan Paul (1:29)

F**k Tom Brady.

Patrick Bet-David (1:40)

So I'm gonna ask you an indirect way of helping our guys, our production team that works so hard, get a raise. Do you want to help them get a raise? This is how you can help us out.

49% of you watch our podcast, that our editors work so hard. Producers, cutters, all of them, our production team, 32 of them that work here, they work very, very hard to deliver a good quality to you. If you enjoy our show and you want to help this thing get bigger so we can take our talent that we have in house to support this production all the time and maybe even give them a raise, then please subscribe to the channel that allows us to get more viewership and indirectly it makes bigger opportunities for our current team that we have. Thank you so much.

Logan Paul (2:22)

Man, I'm humbled. I'm honored to be here.

Patrick Bet-David (2:24)

It's great to have you here. Thank you so much. Yes. Please grab a seat. Sure.

Logan Paul (2:28)

Man, this is great, PBD. I'm impressed.

Patrick Bet-David (2:31)

So, question for you. I mean, of course, you know, I came to the back. We had a chance to speak. I'm going to bring Dylan up here because he wants to talk to you as well.

How is it possible? This is the dynamic I want because we got some parents here that their kids are content creators, okay? How is it possible that your parents raised two boys? You guys have a very different personality. You're different than Jake. Of course, some similarities drive. How is it that both of you guys are doing so well, getting so much attention?

Logan Paul (2:59)

That's a great question. I love that lead because I assume there's a lot of parents in here.

And at the risk of sounding arrogant, yeah, my parents are two for two, which is tough, especially because while we were always there for each other, Jake and I, my brother, and we definitely amplified each other. To your point, we are very different. We have very different personalities. And although we've done similar things in terms of content, our businesses look pretty dramatically different. We say we're the exact same and the exact opposite.

Logan Paul (3:32)

We're yin and yang.

Logan Paul (3:33)

But to be honest, I've said this before publicly, I attribute a lot of our success to, man, you guys, it's a cliche answer, and I'm sure you've heard it a ton already, but it is the work ethic that my father instilled in us.
