Coming to you from the Circus Sportsbook, here in downtown Las Vegas, I'm Scott Seidenberg. This is Live Bet Sunday on The Sports Betting Network. You can always hit me up on Twitter, at Scott's on there and tag us all on the network at VSiN Live, as we have college football here on this Sunday. In fact, the final Live Bet Sunday before the NFL season. So we will talk about a game that is currently going to begin the second half, and that is the Apple Cup here in week one of the college football season. Kind of awkward, but kind of cool. Washington with a 10-0 lead over Washington State. The Huskies got north of 23 to 24-point favorites in this game, even beyond right now with a 10-0 lead at the half. Kate taking a look at all the live markets as we progress throughout this Live Bet Sunday show. We'll monitor to see if there's anything that we want to jump in on. I did like Washington before the game. Seeing them now as a 20.5-point favorite. Do I want to jump in now at the half? I'm not sure right now. Total is 33.5. I don't think I have any confidence in Washington State to score in this game. And I don't even think I had confidence in Washington State to score before the game started. But just five first downs in that first half for the Cougars against Washington. Washington, meanwhile, had 12 first downs, 186 yards of offense, just 73 total yards for Washington State. for 5 on third downs, as this has been a completely one-sided game in favor of the Huskies. But why don't they have more points? That's the big question, right? Well, they've got a field goal on the one drive, which, okay, you want to get some points out of it. Then they get a missed field goal on another drive. And then they had a, what, a drive that ended at the end of the first half there, right? So, halftime here, 10 to 6, 10 to nothing, excuse me, is your score. And Washington leads, and they are now a 20.5 point favorite. I'm just looking a little bit deeper here inside the box score to see if there's anything that jumps out to me. Washington State missed a field goal on their opening possession. So because Washington State got the ball to start the game, Washington will have the ball to start the second half. Does that make you more interested in betting Washington? Because if you, let's say you don't bet them right now, and they score to open up the third quarter, whether it's a field goal to take a 13-0 lead or a touchdown to take a 17-0 lead, that live line is going to jump tremendously. I think if that, you know, again, we saw the market go in favor of Washington to the point where this thing got as high as, I mean, what did I see? 24, 24 and a half on Washington.
I might be interested in a Washington play here, but I'm not gonna force anything. I think I might just let the first possession of the third quarter play out. And if Washington does not score, maybe that becomes a time to jump in on them. But we'll wait and see once that second half gets underway there in Seattle. Still to come, we have two neutral site games, marquee games, if you will, including the only top 25 matchup that we have here in week number one of the college football season. Notre Dame takes on Wisconsin at Lambeau Field. So it's technically on the schedule, a home game for Notre Dame. But it's a home game for Wisconsin because the game is in Green Bay. But it's a home game for Notre Dame because we know they have the crowd, we know they sell out the tickets. Probably going to be an interesting split of the crowd and probably more fans for the Irish there despite the game being played in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Notre Dame has taken some money. They are now up to a 21 point favorite, 21.5 in some spots with a total of 46 here at Circa, 46.5 elsewhere. Money has come in on the under. That's where I'm in on this game. I'm in on the under in this game. If I had to pick a side, it would be towards the Irish, but not at the current number, not at 21, 21.5. You could have had 20, 20.5 you could have had here on Notre Dame. But taking a look at, again, like where I'm at right now, it's on the under for me. Notre Dame, we know, is a run first offense, right? That's what Marcus Freeman comes out and tells you. It is a run first offense, but their quarterback, CJ Carr, it was the Heisman Trophy favorite up until Darien Mensah in Miami had a monster performance in their opening game. CJ Carr is still the second favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. Right now, looking at the updated market on DraftKings at least, it is Darien Mensah at plus 550, CJ Carr at plus 800 While I like the under in this game, because Notre Dame is going to rely on the run, I think one of my favorite prop bets in this game is actually CJ Carr over one and a half passing touchdowns.
