We have Sunday Night Baseball coming up in about 20 minutes from now. The Chicago Cubs hosting the Cincinnati Reds, where it'll be Shota Iminaga on the mound for the Cubs, and Chase Burns on the mound for the Reds. I believe that game is not going to start on time, though, as I do see a flash in front of me about a potential weather delay.
Let's see the latest here from the Cubs. No, they didn't post anything. Let's see if there's a weather delay here for Sunday Night Baseball. Yep, it will be delayed by rain. We do not know when, in fact, they will start. I got to think that if it is, you know, the delay hurts the starting pitchers a little bit because, you know, you're warmed up, you're getting ready. We all pitchers are creatures of habit. This could be a way of maybe actually shorting an outing. And maybe that is the play to go with an under strikeouts, as I mentioned on Shota Iminaga, where we can take advantage of a pricing, not a pricing inaccuracy, but a pricing difference. Yes, you have to lay a ton of juice, but you have Iminaga under six and a half strikeouts at MGM at minus 190 Every other book, including here at Circa, the sharpest, has Iminaga at five and a half strikeouts. So maybe take advantage of that, lay a little bit of juice, because if rain is in the forecast, you always have the potential for another delay at some point. And if there is, if they start play, even if they're delayed, but they start play, and then there's a delay at some point during the game, there's a very good chance the starters don't even come back out. So think about that. You play three innings, you play four innings, now there's a rain delay, now the managers have to decide, do you want your starting pitcher to go back in after they warmed up, sat back down, do you want them ramping back up again or not? So I think it is a play, in fact, here, on Imenaga under six and a half. I think the juice is worth it when you consider now the weather delays possibly impacting this start. But we'll let you know when, in fact, they do get underway there in Chicago between the Cubs and the Reds. Earlier today on Sunday, Scottie Scheffler claimed his throne as the greatest golfer in the world as he wins the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup Championship. And the one that he missed, Scott, is because he had hand, foot and mouth disease that he got from his toddler. So give him a free pass on that one. But Scottie is the best player in the world. And there were people out there that were heavily critical because he only, only had one win heading in to the playoff. But if you kind of looked a little deeper, and this is why I kept playing him, he had four runner up finishes, he had 12 top five finishes. This is a guy who's been there every single week. And yes, he didn't have six or seven wins like he had the year before when he was pretending to be Tiger Woods. He didn't have a couple of majors behind him. He only had that one win early in the season. So everybody's criticizing him that he's not as good as he was. Well, you got 12 top fives. Think about that at the time. Now he's got about 13, 14 of them. He was number one in the FedEx Cup standings. He was number one in the world. And he was number one in about four out of the six shot games metrics out there. So is the best player. Yes, he had a lot of bridesmaids, a lot of runner up finishes. That's gonna happen. You look at the Travelers Championship that I went to that was right here. It was him and Victor Hovland, which we saw again today.
