Welcome to Live Bet Saturday. I am your host, Will Hill, Brad Taylor. We'll hopefully be joining us in just a minute, but it's back. We are back, college football, and we've had this a few times, it feels like over the last month, where you have these different days, where people declare football is back for some people.
It's the Hall of Fame game for some people, it's when training camp star for others, it's week one or week zero, week one of the NFL. But once you got games that count, you got a full college card, I think it's fair to say football was back, I'll get you some live scores, some live updates. We'll look forward to the night games. Boy, the day games, just to be honest, man, if it weren't for betting and thank God for betting, betting is the great equalizer. I'm not sure how much I'd be watching or betting these games or I guess if there's no betting, can't be betting these games. Not sure how much I'd be watching these games because, boy, just a lot of blowouts, a lot of mismatches. And it reminds you that the difference between the haves and the have nots has never been greater because, you just take Georgia, Tennessee State for an example here. And that looks like that streak is about to end of Kirby Smart. You don't have to hear about that for a while. Never covers when he's a 38 plus point favorite. He's and 15 against the spread. They're up 63 to three. I got a little hairy in terms of the spread right before the half because it was 35 nothing, four minutes into the second quarter.
I tweeted out, I said, man, Georgia could win 100 to nothing if they really wanted to. At 35 nothing, they need to score again with 10 minutes left in the half, a little over 10 minutes left in the half. They didn't score again the rest of the half. They actually gave them a field goal, which I didn't think Tennessee State, I thought they would do well to score basically once all game.
But Georgia takes over in the second half at 63 to three. That went up from 46 to 50 They're gonna cover that, but that's just a perfect example to use. If you have anybody that's worth anything in terms of like a power five prospect, a sleeper on one of these Tennessee State, one of these group of five teams, they're gonna go to another school. So the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. And that's why you see blowout after blowout. The one game that maybe is a saving grace here, just in terms of entertainment value, Boise State right now is driving their down seven. They did have a 17-7 lead against Oregon, about a 24 point underdog. And I'll get you a live number on that. That is right now Oregon, minus 11 and a half, total 56 and a half at DraftKings. Money line, Oregon minus 1300, Boise State plus 700
Boise's got the ball second and three, just on the other side of midfield here. So, you know, if you wanted something to sweat, could Boise, you know, pull off the unthinkable here and pull off an upset at seven to one. They looked like, I don't want to say the better team. It wasn't exactly, you know, UMass Rutgers the other night when it was pretty clear that UMass who went down seven, nothing as a 30 point dog would just absolutely dominate the rest of the game. It's not that kind of scenario, but Boise has showed well here. Oregon, a very sloppy first half, but maybe usually when the big underdog, you know, falls behind after having a lead, it's hard to come back and win it again.
And usually, you know, the game kind of goes the other way. You see it a lot in the NCAA tournament where that, that mid major, that 15, 16 seed, they have their moment, they have their half, but once they fall behind after having the lead, it's hard to get it back, but hey, they are driving now. It is now first in 10 for Boise here, just on the fringe of field, not quite in field goal range as a plus 750, first in 10 on the Oregon 42, live number 10 and a half and 56 and a half. Other games, Cincinnati, up 24, nothing on Boston College. And you know, have fun with that one. North Dakota State, up 38, nothing on Fordham. I mean, you get the idea. Penn State, all over Marshall, 38, nothing. I know a lot of people thought maybe Marshall could be live in that game. And you know, Penn State, who knows? First game, new coach, all that.
