Week one of College Football 2026 is underway. I'm Dustin Wedelson. Welcome on in to Live Bet Saturday, VSiN, the Sports Betting Network. We are here, we're in the midst of the early action. We'll also get you ready for all get going this hour, next hour, and a little bit further down the road. Fun show lined up for you today, and we have a game about to start in Athens, Georgia, between the Hedges. Tennessee State comes to town to take on the Dogs and Kirby Smart. Georgia, in this role, has not thrived in the past under Kirby Smart. They are a 49 and a half point favorite right now. I see a 50 out there as well. 55 and a half is your total. This is a game where I decided to go under on this one a little bit earlier in the week. I'm on the under 56, so just a slight half point move there. You go back and look at the track record for both of these coaches in this matchup. Kirby Smart, and 8 against the spread in his career against FCS opponents, 5 and 2 to the under. He's also and 11 against the spread as a home favorite of at least 42 and a half, 7 and 3 to the under in that role, and he's also 13 and 4 to the under in the first two weeks of the season. On the other end of the coin, Reggie Barlow, the head coach to Tennessee State, he comes into this season opener in Athens. 9 and 2 to the under as a dog, 4 and to the under as a road dog. We're going on the under here. There's a pretty good track record of Kirby Smart early in the season. He knows this is not where the money is made for them dogs. He's trying to save a little bit for later. And he knows that the talent is on one side of this thing. He'll push around Tennessee State for three quarters, call off the dogs when it matters in the end, and they'll cruise to a victory in week one of the college football season. That is the game that's about to get started. We have plenty more that are going to get going in our window here on the program. So coming up a little bit later on this hour, in about 30 minutes, Penn State, the debut of Matt Campbell as the head coach of the Nittany Lions. Oregon hosts Boise State a couple of years ago. This was a close matchup between those two. I think we got a barn burner with Texas State going to Austin to take on the Longhorns and a fun matchup in Atlanta. Baylor facing Auburn, DJ Lagway versus Byron Brown, part two. A quarterback matchup we saw a year ago when both of those quarterbacks were at two different schools. I'm Dustin Swedelson. I'm fired up to be with you today. Let me get you situated on what's going on right now as we sweat out some bets from the early action in college football.

Fourth quarter, 321 to go. It's a 10 point game. West Virginia leads Coastal Carolina. This is a game where Rich Rodriguez comes in with a new quarterback, a new running back, and a familiar face in Cam Cook. Michael Hawkins, the quarterback transfer from Oklahoma. They've looked awesome. And I know it's Coastal Carolina. This is the team that, you know, you don't take that seriously now with the money being spent across college football, even though there was a time, not that long ago, where the Chanticleers were the talk of the college football world. This number closed with the Mountaineers laying 21 at home. Total of 54

We're going to see Coastal potentially cover here as West Virginia, you know what, I spoke too soon, West Virginia has a chance to punch it in up by 10 347 to go, they are in the red zone, working at the 15-yard line of Coastal Carolina. Looks like Cam Cook and Michael Hawkins still in there for West Virginia, but they also want to use plenty of clock. Total was 54 at close, your in-game number is 44.5.

I am on the under at, I believe I got 56.5.

Have that written down here, 56.5. So a lot of under movement this week in College Football. We've seen some unders come in earlier this week in Week 1 That's a trend that we're going to follow throughout the afternoon here on the program. But West Virginia with a chance to go up here 17, they still not will be covering the number of 21 at close. But I will keep you updated on that game. As we see what happens on this drive, the second and seven coming up for West Virginia, Michael Hawkins keeps it, he's going to find Paydirt. That is a rushing touchdown for the Oklahoma transfer. He's a fun little player, man, and when you think about his skill set, really good fit for what Rich Rodriguez likes to do with the mobile quarterbacks. In fact, might have a little bit more arm than Rich Rodriguez is used to.
