Top of the hour here at the Mitt Gaming Hall in Franklin, Kentucky. Right above the Circus Sportsbook, I am Brad Taylor. Follow me on Twitter, at BottomLineLex, along with Will Hill. Follow him at not the Will Hill. Two e's in that B, as we are watching football on this Live Bet Saturday, and we've got scoring going on in all the big games we're watching right now.

Oklahoma State just put up a field goal. They had a fourth and one.

Deep inside the red zone of Oregon, they chose to get the three, and Oklahoma State is now up 39-31, an eight-point margin with three minutes, 11 seconds to go. Oklahoma State now a two-and-a-half point favorite here on the Live Betting Line, total 76-and-a-half. Also, we have a touchdown in Provo, Utah, Arizona. Now is up 16-14 on BYU. Extra point is pending. We'll see what happens there, but current Live Betting Line, BYU only a two-and-a-half point favorite on Live Betting Line, 58-and-a-half year total, and a field goal in Lexington for Alabama. Kentucky 14, Alabama 13

Alabama now currently a four-and-a-half point favorite with the 52-and-a-half point total there. The three big games we're watching right now, Will. I think Oregon and Oklahoma State might be the star of the afternoon here for this one. Your thoughts on what's going on here?

Will Hill (2:37)

Two very interesting decisions and different outcomes and decisions from each coach. Oregon, as we were going to break, had fourth and seven on their own, 37, maybe fourth and eight on their own, 37 They went for it, they did not get it. And then as you mentioned, Oklahoma State fourth and one, I want to say from like the 13, a little over three minutes ago, Oregon had all three timeouts, so you couldn't end it with a first down. But boy, a first down would go a long way to ending it. At least, you know, run more clock. You get the ends on the game is over. I always say this and I would have gone for it. I understand kicking the field goal, but I would have gone for it. What does your opponent not want you to do? If you're Oregon, I think if you gave them true serum, you say, you know what, kick the field goal, give me the ball back down to eight. All I need is a touchdown, a two, and then I'm back in decent shape here. Where I'm terrified fourth and one, you're going to get it. They've been moving the ball, Oak State up and down the field all day. I mean, they got 40 points on the board, 36 at the time they kick the field goal.

I would have gone for it. I would have gone for the kill. I get it. It's not a slam dunk decision, but I would have gone for it and been aggressive. It was only yard. If it's two or three, I get it, take the field goal at one man.

I would have attempted to go for it. So we'll see Oregon as we're talking, as a big play, they're out to not quite midfield, but close.

With four downs to work with Brad, I feel like Oregon is going to get in the end zone. It's just to me, once they get in, if they get in, do they get the two? So I would have gone for the kill if I'm Oak State. What did you think of the decision?

Brad Taylor (4:01)

Our producer, John Lund, and you and I, we were all talking about this during the break, and we all came up with, what does the other team want you to do? Just like you said, and they wanted you to kick the field goal. And that's kind of what they did right there. So we will see what happens. Yeah, I think I would have gone forward, too. We talk about this a lot, Will. If you're David, you can't play like you're Goliath. You have to play like you're David. And that's exactly what I feel like Oregon or Oklahoma State did right there. So Oregon now has the ball. Two minutes to go. They're on their own side of the field.
