All right, Live Bet Saturday. I am your host, Will Hill. Joining us shortly, hopefully, will be Brad Taylor as we have a lot to do. Take 6 o'clock Eastern here, Michigan, Oklahoma. Right now, a 10-7 game. That is the big game we're tracking with Michigan.
Actually, 10-10 as we just come back here in Oklahoma, we're tied at Michigan. Led 10-0, led 10-0 at half, but it's been pretty much all Oklahoma here in the second half. A close game, a low-scoring game, and I was saying all week and tweeted this out earlier, this is one of those games where you're just going to feel like an idiot no matter who you pick, if you're wrong, because on one hand, if you pick Michigan and you try to be contrarian and you take the points, well, you should have seen it come in Oklahoma. You know, it was going to win by 20, that kind of thing. Oklahoma was just much better. You should just trust what you saw.
On the other hand, if you laid the points with Oklahoma and you laid the 5.5-6, well, Michigan was a 2-point favorite on the look ahead and you had an 8-point adjustment, and you're just overreacting. So right now, it's anybody's game. It is Oklahoma kicking off here after tying it. And we will see here as Michigan gets the ball a few minutes into the fourth quarter here, as I think we have Brad Taylor. Brad, are you with us?
Brad Taylor (1:34)
I am with you. I think we're having some issues that I can only hear you when the game actually starts. So we are ready to go here. And yes, you are describing it well.
Overreaction Theater. We saw Michigan last week. Oh, they were, that was the biggest cheat job ever that they won that game. And then that line, like you said, Michigan was a one and a half point favorite in this game on the look ahead lines. And then they got up to five and a half, some places six. And then all of a sudden, yeah, a little bit of sharp action before this one. This was one of my favorite bets of the day. Overreaction Theater. We got some more of these later tonight. But yeah, Michigan and Oklahoma right now, tied at 10 as we're entering the fourth quarter. We welcome you in. We apologize for being a little late due to some audio and video issues. We're trying to get straight down here at Kentucky, but we are up and running and we are trying to catch some tickets here on this Live Bet Saturday. My name is Brad Taylor. You can follow me on the Twitter at BottomLineLex and you can follow my co-host, Will Hill, at not the Will Hill, too easy in that V, and make sure you check out the Should Have Bet More podcast along with the Megapod with Gil Alexander and Todd Wishtev. That was great stuff. I checked it out a couple of days ago, Will. That was great stuff. So if you're an NFL guy, make sure to check that out as good as it gets when it comes to. If you guys were in the same room, I swear I think Wishtev would go after you guys physically, but that's neither here nor there. But we do have games going on right now in college football, like Will was talking about. Number 11, Oklahoma and Michigan. Currently, it is now in the fourth quarter, 11 minutes remaining in this game. And Michigan has the ball, but Oklahoma is a two and a half point favorite on the live betting line, 27 and a half year total on this one. Will, you've been watching this game. Your thoughts, how do we see Michigan with the ball on their side of the field, about 11 minutes to go here. What have you learned in this game so far today, Oklahoma and Michigan?
Will Hill (3:28)
Yeah, and it looks like Oklahoma is going to get the ball back because third and two, Michigan runs a little ghost sweep. The receiver's in motion. They try to catch Oklahoma off guard and Oklahoma was having none of it. Oklahoma sniffs it out and it's going to go for about a two or three year loss. So it's going to be fourth and five.
Oklahoma is going to get the ball back here. I figure Oklahoma was probably going to win now. They were downtown nothing. They couldn't do anything with the ball, but Michigan couldn't land the knockout punch and put them away. And now tie game, Oklahoma and Underwood screamed at the running back. So I don't know if there was a misunderstanding or a little timing issue there. Underwood hasn't done much, hasn't been awful, but again, it's a good Oklahoma defense, better than he was last week. But 10-10, under 10 minutes ago, Oklahoma should get the ball back, reasonably good field position if they don't rough the punter, which they don't, which has been an epidemic in college football. Some of these games I'm watching, I would just almost not put a punt team out there, a punt returns, leave the punter alone. They're giving you the damn ball back. Don't rough them and get great a turn-off. We saw in the NFL game the other night. But Oklahoma takes over around their own 30
