But I'm also looking forward to catch the tickets here tonight in Major League Baseball as the Mariners, Cal Riley, gets victimized again by a great play in the field. Watching that batting average keep going down. The Mariners are still losing 4-2 to the Mariners right now, or to the Cubs right now. And as we're in the bottom of the sixth here with two outs, Peterson is still on the mound for the Cubs, 94 pitches for him. Also, the Dodgers are up 4-2 now on the Pirates.
Just a couple innings ago, the Dodgers were underdogs in this game. No more. They are big favorites now, more than minus 200, I guess, the Pirates. As Scoobble is still on the mound, he's got five and a third now, nine strikeouts.
So far for Scoobble, so that first inning, maybe he put that behind him here, Will. What do you think about these two baseball games?

Yeah, Scoobble has certainly bounced back. So again, anytime Scoobble gives up three runs, that's not like a vintage A plus Scoobble, just can't hit them. But when you factor in the fact that three runs in the first and then second and third with one out in the second, thinking, man, what's wrong with him? It's going to be a quick night. He gets out of that jam. And since then, he has settled in the line right now for Scoobble, five and a third, five hits, nine Ks, three runs, they're all earned.
So again, a hit and hitting, a walk, he's getting hit a little bit, but maybe it's not the end of the world, and maybe by the time October rolls around, Scoobble settles in to kind of his new environment and he's back to being dominant. But it's now three or four starts because he started against the Cubs that first week they traded him.
Pitched against the Royals, pitched against the Brewers, and now this is four start against the Pirates. If you go back and look, all of them are kind of like this, where he gives up a run or two, tonight three. He's been good, but he's not unhittable. So we'll see here if I've just, you know, it's a high bar. Is this a situation where just being too harsh on him, or you know what, he's fine, don't worry about him, and you give them the ball in game one of a playoff series, you don't even think twice about it.

I'm not completely convinced yet, Will. I really am not, because like you said, I mean, it's so many of these pitchers, from Skeez to Hunter Green to, you know, so many of these guys are just going down with the same type of injuries right now. So it's hard to kind of look at these things and take it.
One of Will Hill's Best Bets, top of the eighth inning, Rays are still up two to nothing on the Orioles. Live Betting Line has the Rays about a minus 860 here. So the odds makers think, have a good thoughts about the Rays here, but we're at the bottom of the eighth now. We'll figure out if the Orioles could get anything done as we are now through a seven and a half in Baltimore. Some other games, Giants still up on the Red Sox. We were talking about them earlier, wondering why the Red Sox kind of aren't what they used to be. Well, they're two to nothing now. Giants at the bottom of the sixth. A's and Astros are 1-1, top of the seventh. Angels up on the Rangers, top of the eighth. Rangers only have one hit in this one. Angels up three to nothing in that one. Royals up on the fading Tigers. Royals up three-one in the top of the eighth there in that one.
Of course, the Guardians in Colorado up on the Rockies, three to nothing. Reds also up on the Diamondbacks here. That's a little bit of a surprise to me. It was either Diamondbacks or nobody here, but I couldn't lay that kind of chalk with Arizona. Reds up three-nothing on the Diamondbacks. Twins also up three-nothing on the Padres. Anything other than the big games and Major League Baseball catching your eye right now, Will?
