Celebrating 10 years of podcasting is The Drew Lane Show.
**Drew Lane** (0:09)
Well, what's poppin? We are rompin on a Tuesday.
And yeah, we'll get all into Hayden Panettiere and her tragic death.
**Trudi Daniels** (0:17)
That's a bummer.
**Drew Lane** (0:18)
Yeah, and a lot of things surrounding that. She died at 36 years old in overdose. That Narcan couldn't help, Paramedics couldn't help.
It's just reunited with her abusive boyfriend after a five-year restraining order.
**Trudi Daniels** (0:36)
Whoa.
**Drew Lane** (0:36)
Five years.
**Trudi Daniels** (0:37)
Wow.
**Drew Lane** (0:38)
So yeah, there's a lot going on there. And I want to get into one of her last interviews with Jay Shetty on his podcast. And I've just really fascinated by what's going on in Hollywood in general, not just her, but she reminds me of, I don't say Britney Spears, that sounds terrible. It's just the way she describes her life and people just accept it like it's gospel.
When I just think these child actors and most of our entertainers now, the musicians and the people in regular shows, they start as kids now. Yeah.
We used to have people that would, they beat their brains out in bars and clubs, trying to get a record deal or whatever. Sometimes it would happen when you're 23, 24, some even older. But now, it's like the Dias cast when you're 13 and you make the Mickey Mouse Club or Nickelodeon or whatever.
**Trudi Daniels** (1:30)
She was younger too.
**Drew Lane** (1:32)
Yeah, she was very young and remember the Titans.
**Trudi Daniels** (1:34)
Actually, it was a baby when her mom put her in modeling.
**Drew Lane** (1:38)
Yeah, I think she was eight months old or something.
**SPEAKER_8** (1:40)
She had no choice in it.
**Drew Lane** (1:42)
But do these people, do they really mind in the end? They love being stars, don't they?
**SPEAKER_7** (1:47)
This chick is a horrible actor.
**Drew Lane** (1:50)
They seem to think they're not supposed to face any adversity whatsoever when actually you do pay a price, but you get a lot too.
**SPEAKER_8** (1:56)
Yeah.
**Trudi Daniels** (1:57)
No, I see what you're saying.
**Drew Lane** (1:59)
Britney Spears can be really mad at her parents for certain things, but she would not be what she is if her parents didn't sacrifice.
**Trudi Daniels** (2:06)
Britney the Barefoot, Louisiana Hillbilly, nobody knows.
**Drew Lane** (2:11)
She'd be quite a hag. Frank Beard of ZZ Top has passed away at 77
**Trudi Daniels** (2:20)
Was he the one who didn't have a beard?
**Drew Lane** (2:24)
Yes, he's the one of three. Three people in the band, he did not have a beard. That is not a huge dissimilarity.
But it's funny when I think of ZZ Top, I do think there's got to be more than two guys with a beard in that band, right? No, there's not.
**SPEAKER_7** (2:38)
But his name is Beard.
**Drew Lane** (2:40)
But Frank Beard of ZZ Top, dead at 77 Dusty Hill died in 2021, so Billy Gibbons is the only living member of ZZ Top.
**SPEAKER_9** (2:48)
He'll keep touring.
**Marc Fellhauer** (2:49)
Yeah, you know what?
**Trudi Daniels** (2:51)
He'll play with anybody. As long as that check clears. Yes, absolutely.
**Drew Lane** (2:56)
So he is not dead.
**Marc Fellhauer** (2:58)
No.
**Drew Lane** (2:59)
Tupac Shakur.
**SPEAKER_5** (3:01)
He is dead.
**Drew Lane** (3:08)
Oh, he's gone way too soon. We love you, Frank Beard. You just...
We'll miss you. We love you, Frank.
**SPEAKER_10** (3:17)
We all miss you very much.
**Drew Lane** (3:20)
Bye.
**SPEAKER_5** (3:21)
He is dead.
**SPEAKER_11** (3:27)
It's actually correct.
**Drew Lane** (3:30)
Tupac Shakur lied, bleeding in an ambulance.
**SPEAKER_10** (3:32)
He is dead.
**SPEAKER_7** (3:33)
It's correct. It's correct.
**Drew Lane** (3:36)
Tupac Shakur lay, bleeding in an ambulance after being shot in Las Vegas. Vegas officer Gary Dale was on the stand because he was in the ambulance and he asked Tupac who shot him.
**SPEAKER_9** (3:46)
This answer is ridiculous.
**Drew Lane** (3:47)
And Tupac said, no, no, no. We'll take care of it.
**SPEAKER_9** (3:50)
You sure about that, Pac?
**SPEAKER_12** (3:52)
Remember, nobody likes a snitch.
**SPEAKER_9** (3:54)
You sure?
**SPEAKER_7** (3:55)
Really.
**Drew Lane** (3:55)
So stupid.
**SPEAKER_7** (3:56)
Don't worry, I got this.
**Drew Lane** (3:58)
And Suge Knight's still saying that, that he won't snitch. This is the dumbest thing. And I remember when it was actually being discussed, like, yeah, no, you don't snitch. That's the right thing to do. Never snitch.
**SPEAKER_7** (4:08)
And they released the audio of his final words.
**Marc Fellhauer** (4:11)
When you tattle on someone, you're not just telling on them.
