Today on The Pivot, we're joined by Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen, who took the Jags from 4 and 13 to 13 and 4 in his first season as head coach. Liam's story is about a lot more than football. It starts with family. His dad, a division three head coach, his mother, a teacher, and his father eventually becoming his high school head coach. He opens up about the biggest regret of his career, which is leaving Sean McVay after just one season as the offensive coordinator. We also get into his unusual transition from Tampa Bay to Jacksonville, the challenges of taking over a franchise that had just gone four and 13, and what it was like to develop Trevor Lawrence in year one. We had some of the guys here in June that were a bunch of former players came in. And it was just such a cool... I was like, if these guys can take one thing from those guys to make us 1% better, I got better. Just about that process, the diners, all that, I was like, I got better.
So it's really cool, those moments with Travis, can he take something from y'all to help his life and his game that much more. So I appreciate you guys being here.

Obviously, being a former player, I mean, UMass Hall of Fame, you understand what it's like to be on the grass, but sometimes coaches want to take that away from players. Why did you feel it was important to show them that you were in the fight with them every single day?
