It's about the 8th day of July 2206, very cold morning.
Well, the weather is so clement for anyone to do whatever they want to do today. And I believe, you know, as we step out, we're still looking for the great and bad things, but those are actually made excuses why they will not be at work today. The rain fell and their rug was soaked, or they fell on the mattress, they have to wait and, you know, dry. And some people, their roof disappeared.
But I know there are people who have made excuses to not go to wherever they are going to. The blessed weather, indeed. Well, today happens to be Wednesday. It's midweek on G1019 FM, and there's a segment of the morning Jay still Let's Talk. We will be talking about critical matters as they affect all of us as a people. When you take a look at the issues, it is very, very critical to look at it from the angle where you ask yourself some certain questions. Mr. President has ordered the ICPC to actually look at that very case. The ICPC happens to be the Independent Court of Practices and other related Offenses Commission to conduct a thorough investigation into the activities of the fictitious Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, PFIPC and all related matters demanding a comprehensive report within 30 days. Nigerians have said the president has only seen this from one angle. How did this get into the budget? How did this get a letter from the Secretary General of the Federation's Office? You know, how did the National Assembly all get involved? How did this get into the appropriation bill? The 1.3 billion, the 24 billion grants, how did it come into play? A lot of questions have been asked and now the president said, hey, go and make investigation on the PFIPC. I want to know 300 staff paid by the federal government, their own accounts with the Central Bank.
Well, even though the accountant general has come out to say that nothing as such, obviously the accountant general has said nothing as such, you know, we have, and how has it been receiving money? Is it, Emeka, good morning.

Good morning, Richard. Good morning to you, our dear listener. These are the questions that the insurance are asking. These are the questions that anybody with a leak of sense would ask. And again, the president has ordered the ICPC 30 days. It has given the ICPC to conduct investigation and bring a report. The matter is also in court. So I expect that in the coming days, at least before the end, for the for next month, 30, 30, further, the 7th or 8th of August, we should have gotten the response from the ICPC and from the courts. And that's an interesting one. I also saw a video, although I haven't watched it yet, where they say Mr. Day and me went on a video live, I think Instagram, I don't know what platform they used, with Very Dark Man and was explaining himself.
And it's shocking and it's also disturbing that the man under investigation, ideally, you're supposed to not grant those kind of interviews, right? First off, because you're under investigation, you're in court, right? That's the standard procedure. Does the law state so? So when the matter is in court, everybody holds still, especially those who are involved in it, will hold still until the court has decided on the matter. Again, he is not an outsider. He is part of the process. So ideally, he's not supposed to be saying anything right now, but he did. That is fine. My problem is him going to a social media commentator to have an interview and explain his case. And it begs question, if this guy is real, say it comes out that the evidence that he said he has presented to the public, the documents are true.
I think it begs deeper questions as to who leads agencies in Nigeria, because I would imagine that any person that would lead an agency would have an idea of processes, would have an idea of how things are and should be done.

Don't forget, he claimed he gave 400 million Naira upfront for that very position. Yes, that's what he said. And again, expected to give 200 million Naira. To balance up. But again, when the kickoff grant actually came, you know, that was about 24 billion. What we saw was the chief of staff to the president was asking for a huge percentage.
About 50%, which he said he cannot give such amount of money because this position already seems to be bought.
