SPEAKER_5 (2:51)

And this.

Les Knott (3:11)

Right, good evening, everybody, yes, and thanks very much to Bully. What a great show, as per normal, man.

Yeah, after last week's dive, I could... We're all in here now, yes, and it's all set up nicely. Fingers crossed, touch wood and everything. Taking you through till nine o'clock with Jazz, Funk and Soul. Don't forget to top me out with a couple of nice little jazzy numbers in the corner sirs corner. Between now and then, the back to back classic by a classic old teach. And then after a couple of new ones in the new second half, we'll have Frieda's been dug out of my garage. Not from the archives, but dug out of the garage.

Right, and as I say, everything seems to be running smoothly at the moment, so I think we better get going then. Sliders are in the right place, knobs are in the right place. Let's go.

SPEAKER_1 (4:27)

Well, they go 1980, that one is out of breakwater. So You Love Me Girl. Well, it's been absolutely beautiful here all day today and yesterday. So yeah, I thought I'd play this. Because I like taste like this. Can't believe the 1st of October, we hit 26 degrees.

Well, yes, we hit 26 yesterday as well, and I was helping the neighbour. I was chopping a tree down.

I just hope it's just as warm when I'm over there in Turkey. Yes, when we go out to Laguna Sol next week.

Natasha Watts (19:34)

Hey, what's up, everybody? This is your girl, Natasha Watts, and I am listening to Les Knott.

Les Knott (22:05)

Well, there we go. What does it take to win your love, Jr Walker and the All Stars? All right, what I gotta do now is to, well, yeah, you know what I mean, this one.

SPEAKER_1 (22:14)

Back to back classic tunes from a classic artist on Zero Radio.

Les Knott (22:18)

Well, I'm gonna do it because 10 years, 10 years this week, oh no, what's that in 10 years? 50 years this week. Okay, man, I'm 50 years this week. The album Songs in the Key of Life was released.

SPEAKER_1 (22:30)

Do you remember that?

Les Knott (22:31)

50 years ago. Here we go.

I don't know how to buy that. So excited to get over and start playing it.
