Are you finding yourself obsessed with doom scrolling through all of the terrible news of the world and also watching your Bitcoin bag continue to chunk down as we find our depths of the bear market? Well, today, I'm going to come to you with the rarest Bitcoin bottom signal there truly is, along with a lot of key data that is pointing to exactly what this same signal is showing, and the timeframe of execution coming upon us is right at our door.
Now, to begin, I want you to understand what Bitcoin mining actually sets a precedent for. Bitcoin mining and the cost of production for Bitcoin, along with the hash rate, the difficulty in mining that Bitcoin, often marks the bottom. And sitting right before us is a massive Bitcoin capitulation by these Bitcoin miners. Public miners have dumped Bitcoin at a record pace. Hash price has collapsed to post-having lows, and older machines are starting to switch off. This is a textbook definition of capitulation. The harder question is whether it marks the bottom or the start of a deeper shakeout. And now this is where the technical analysis of Bitcoin's past, when it was in a 100 to 200 billion dollar range, is going to fog a lot of people's judgment. And this is a key thing that I want you to keep in mind here. The Bitcoin bottom is never a perfect V-shaped recovery. And often times in crypto, the past performance is used as an expectation to a tee of future predictions. But we have a whole new beast in the room with us today, and it is AI. AI has been enticing a lot of these Bitcoin miners to hand their computing power over to the AI takeover. Publicly traded companies including Mara, CleanSpark, Riot Platforms, Kango, CoreScientific and Bitdeer collectively sold more than 32,000 Bitcoin in the first quarter of 26
That figure set a single quarter record. It exceeded what those same companies sold across all four quarters of 25 combined and surpassed roughly 20,000 Bitcoin they offloaded during the second quarter of the last bear market in 2022 The depths of the bear market that followed right after the Terra Luna collapse. Now, ask yourself, if Bitcoin is such a sure thing, then why would these firms be selling? Well, there is price of production pressures on a lot of these firms, and these are organizations that need to take in profit to keep operating. But with the 20-headed hydra of AI coming into the picture, you have an extra catalyst of pressure that's been on the market since AI came out. But really, we haven't seen that death spiral of shutting these Bitcoin machinery off in lieu of moving into AI in general. And this is where it really gets my goat going, is the bowl case of a capitulation actually marking the bottom. An optimistic reading rests on history.
Minor capitulations have consistently preceded recoveries rather than endings. The logic is mechanical. It's not hopeful. When high-cost operators power down, network difficulty falls, which lowers the cost of mine for everyone that remains online. And if being in Bitcoin was easy, everyone would be able to blast the bottom and sell the top. But this is where the importance of having a community comes into play, understanding the timing of the markets, the timing for altcoin markets, and everything involved with crypto is so critically important. And I'm actually going to be rolling out my exact playbook and my plan for altcoins over the course of the end of this year, into 2027, in our community that is about to roll out. And we are going live with this community very, very soon. So make sure to pay attention for it. Make sure to get in by July 4th. We're getting the founding members in right now, and you could be part of that. Now, I'm talking about the price of production for bitcoin, but that's not the key, rarest signal. It is a very strong signal, as you can see from the chart here on TradingView. This purple band in the bottom line of the purple band marks the lowest cost of price to produce bitcoin. And that price to produce is right at $61,000, where the price is writhing around as of this morning. Now, it's important to note that bitcoin taps into this price of production even in a bull market trend, right? The yen carry trade dropped us to $50,000, which is absolutely within that cost to produce. For this metric in particular, it's important to notice that the FTX mega capitulation basically was just a washout down to that bottom purple line. Same thing with the world in lockdowns, as we ran into that 10k resistance level at the time being in 2020, it was simply a bounce point. COVID lockdown shown here as support and the guts of the bear market in 2018, December shown here.
