Today, we have a brand new update from Hermes Agent. So Hermes Agent can now learn from anything. So you can feed it, for example, like a blog post, you could feed it some of your PDFs, whatever you need to learn it, it can distill it and learn from it into a verifiable reusable skill. And I'm going to show you exactly how it works. It actually is super easy to use, which I'm absolutely loving. And I'll break it down exactly. I've called this the Learn Anything Engine. And if you're wondering, you know, what does that look like in practice? Let me show you an example here. So what we did over here, and I thought this would not work at all, but it seems really, really smooth. So what we said is forward slash learn. So you just go inside your Hermes chat, you'd say forward slash learn. And then we actually plugged in a guide from my website. So this is a guide on our website about the agent operating system. I wanted to teach Hermes and create a skill around the agent operating system that we've created. And so we went back into the chat here, forward slash learn. That's it. Make sure you update it on the latest version. And then you can plug in the URL.
And look at this. Like this is crazy, easy and also powerful. So it says, learned it and saved it for future sessions. What it is, agent operating system is your dashboard and everything else. There's six pillars to it. Here's the main surfaces. Here's the setup path and how to connect it. Here's how to do it, etc. And then this is the most important part. So not only did it learn from this, but it also saved it as a skill. So let's say, for example, you were trying to break something down that you don't really understand, or you need to master a concept. Well, you could easily give that to Hermes, and then it can learn as a skill and help explain it back to you. The other thing that you could do here is you could actually, for example, if you had like an article in your life, do you know what, I want to implement the system, but I don't know how to automate it with AI. Well, the great thing about this is you could give it a guide about that particular topic. You could give Hermes that guide, say forward slash learn, plug in the topic, and then from there it can actually learn a skill. You see here is saved as a skill.
So it tells you exactly where it is. If you want to load it, the skill that we just created, we just do forward slash skill, agent-operating-system, and then it's good to go.
That's basically it. But also, it will pull in that skill if we mention agentOS, Mission Control, Memory Galaxy, or the AI Profit Boardroom Stack Design. That's how easy it is.
So this is a really powerful system that we can basically use to, number one, learn anything, and number two, to teach Hermes new skills. So basically, with the Learn Anything engine, Hermes can now learn a skill from anything that you show it. That could be a document, it could be a folder, it could be something that you just did, and then it keeps it forever. So you can see here, you can feed in a folder of code. It could be a document page like I gave it, it could be a job that you just did, it could be notes that you have, and then you use forward slash learn, and you reference what you're using, and then it's a skill that's kept together forever. So it's plugged into something called a skill MD, markdown file that stores a skill, and then you can come back to it and use it whenever you want. So you can point Hermes at anything, forward slash learn reads it, and writes a skill, and then keeps it forever. Pretty amazing stuff.
And this literally just came out a few hours ago. So if we have a look at this post, this just dropped about five hours ago. So it's brand brand new stuff. You know, go easy on me if I haven't explained it properly. But this is basically the whole system, and it is super useful. Because now you can teach your Hermes to learn stuff. And the great thing about this is, and I know a lot of people struggle with this, is like every session sometimes you'd have to re-explain how you do things. You publish a guide, the agent would do it, and then it would forget the whole recipe the moment we were done. So the next time you have to start from scratch, you have to explain it all over again.
