Yeah, there you go, there you go. I did want to kick off today's show by sort of talking... Like, I feel like your presence online is relatively elusive.
You're sort of an enigma at this point, where you've done so much incredible work, you have an incredible website, you've built this following via Reddit. Shout out Reddit. But let's first talk about, like, is this your first appearance basically, like, with Fantasy Football?

Yeah, yeah. You brought me out of my basement, I'd say, except I actually deliberately chose the basement because I thought Redditors would be disappointed if I didn't go with the proverbial Redditor in the basement cliché.

That's right.

But yeah, no, I thought it was a good chance.
And you sort of sold me on it saying that basically, hey, we're basically going to nerd out. And for me, that's the safe space. So pull me out of my shell. Yeah, man.

Yeah, it's awesome. And I also want so you go by Subvertadown. How did that all come about? Like even just the naming convention and you coming up with that name to be as your alias, essentially.

**Subvertadown** (2:02)
Yeah, I wish it was more exciting in a way. But because when you're choosing your first login name, you've got that moment like, okay, I got to get going. So it was a little bit fast, but sub was a subreddit was a new term to me. And I thought, oh, what would that? And I thought subvert, okay, I'm trying to disrupt what's going on and think different and all that. And then down, I guess in a way had two things. One was obviously a down in football. So the idea of you would be trying to trick your way into getting that one extra, not an extra touchdown, but just a down to get that marginal advantage.
And I had a hobby also 10 years ago, following a lot of rock music history as it turned out. So I was followed from way back, Duke Ellington and everything. And I was up to a system of a down at the time I was listening to. So I thought, okay, I don't know, whatever, it makes sense. It has nothing to do with it at all. But basically, and then I kept it. There was this debate about should the website stay like that? And then we decided, it kind of fits still. It doesn't roll off the tongue. So that's I think the bigger problem.

I like it. I like it. It's funny because I got my start. And some people don't like, I mean, I would assume a lot of people don't even realize this, but like my handle on Twitter is LateRoundQB, and my Reddit handle is LateRoundQB, and the brand that I now run, the business I now run is LateRound Fantasy Football. And that all started because in 2012, I wrote an e-book called The Late-Round Quarterback, because this is back when people were drafted quarterbacks in the first round and second round and stuff like that.
And again, similar to you, I wanted to disrupt and come up with something that was different than what was out there. And I wrote an e-book, and this is when e-books were not super, now there's e-books just everywhere and it's just a different time. But I just used the Late-Round Moniker essentially, and just carried it throughout my career. And so I can appreciate a little alias. I mean, Matthew Barry has talented Mr. TMR, like people might not even realize that that's from something else. That's just not some random letters that are out there. So I think it's a pretty consistent thing.
