He was guest number one on Perspectives, he's a ginzer who's now out of New Orleans, and he'll drop more life wisdom than anyone in the fantasy football space. These are his late-round perspectives.

I want to just revel in that we're here, and this is real, and that we've created a sector of the media and the economy, where we can sit around and be know-it-alls and be wrong most of the time, and still call this our job. It's that Jinser magic, JJ.

That's right. And speaking of Jinser magic, there's some good stuff going on in Pittsburgh right now.
Some better football being played. I still am prepared. I think every person from Pittsburgh who may have some sort of attachment to the Steelers is prepared for a first-round playoff exit still. But it's nice to see a little bit more of some positivity coming out of Ackershire.

And it's Hinesfield. And they have an us-against-the-world mentality. I want to say hats off to Aaron Rodgers with this cast-off idea.

And teams, I think Jacksonville has this right now. I think Chicago has this right now. I think teams feel like everybody was against us. Everybody doubted us. No one thought we could do this. That's very powerful at this time of year.

So this is fun. And I think that there's a lesson that Aaron Rodgers is teaching all of us that I know we're going to get to. Yes, we all have things to learn from Aaron Rodgers.

Yes, true. It does kind of have like the one Steeler team that... Because this was when I was like peak, peak fandom. I'm sure you're like me where it's like, yeah, that's my team that I root for if I root for a team. But it's doing this as your job makes you just really appreciate other franchises and other builds and other players and coaches and how they handle things. You know, like I sit here and I marvel at what Lamar Jackson does. And my my teenage self, you know, looking at the Ravens in that way, would would hate my late thirties self, you know. But it's just the way that it goes with our jobs. I think fandom can be a beautiful thing. I also, you know, we've both seen the dark side of fandom on both social media and in just the real world. But I think fandom can be great.
And it's fun to always connect with people over that. But you mentioned like what Aaron Rogers has been talking about and like the idea that you have all these players that are coming together that other teams didn't want and such. Kind of a vibe if I go back and I think back to old Steeler teams, kind of that 0-5-0-6 vibe of that team, right? Where they were seven and five and then you get that Jerome Bettis, Brian Urlacher, snow game and he runs them over. And that was like the turning point of the season. And maybe the rushing touchdown with Aaron Rogers against Baltimore was a turning point of the season for them. You know, maybe, yeah, right, right. The belt and Mike Tomlin doing it with him on the sideline. You know, we'll see. But, you know, like I said, always great to chop it up with you. You were the first ever guest in LateRound Perspectives back in the day. And now I think this is like 76 episodes in or so. So it's great to have you back. And honestly, this is the last Perspectives episode of the fantasy season, right, of this regular season because the holidays and stuff next week.
And I really wanted to do sort of a high-level, recap-y, you know, we don't have to get super, super detailed about, you know, this specific thing that we learned, but more of the vibes of the season and more thinking about how, you know, folks and managers might be thinking about stuff entering 2026 and so on. But the first thing that I really wanted to get to is that you, you're sort of a voice of reason within the space at this point. You know, you're wise and you're always giving very, very quality advice. You've given me plenty of advice through the years now that we've been friends now for well over a decade. And so I want to ask you, because I think a lot of people... And look, I'm dealing with this right now too, right? I famously, a couple of weeks ago, that Broncos commanders game when it went into overtime, I needed no RJ Harvey. And of course, RJ Harvey scores like nine PPR points on that final drive because he scored the touchdown. And I missed out on the playoffs in this league by eight PPR points. And it was essentially because... And so I looked at my wife who was still awake, and I looked at her and go, I need to just throw something. And I went to my kitchen and I grabbed my giant water jug, and I went outside into my patio and I just tossed it. And it broke everywhere, right? And I immediately went inside and I just bought another one. But we all go through these tilting experiences with fantasy. And of course, that team is dominant and is crushing, would have probably won the fantasy title. Or you and I would be playing each other in the Apex League this week, had Jalen Waddell and Chris Boswell scored nine PPR points on Monday night. Instead, they scored 8.6 and now I am not facing you, and you are now facing our buddy Matt Harmon. So, I want to say all that, I preface all that because I tilt, everyone tilts, we all go through these experiences. What is your mindset when you have those bad beats and what could you bestow on others and how they should handle those bad beats?
