Sponsored by DK. Now back to the show. Two is fun, man. My son's two and a half now and they start talking a little bit. They don't talk back and stuff and they're not, you know. My daughter is great. Like she's, you know, super, super kind girl and like isn't, isn't like in those teenage years, like like attitude wise, you know, I'm just preparing myself for those years.
Andrew Cooper (2:35)
They're coming. They're coming. Yeah. I mean, with a two-year-old, it's like they can do so many things like a normal person, but at the same time they cannot take care of themselves in any way. Like that's right. Now what's it like? There's no such thing as like, oh, go put your shoes on or even like put that away or do anything. Like you're still, you're still directing the show, but they can improvise a little bit, but yeah.
JJ Zachariason (2:58)
I do think that two to three is the year and the age where your patience is tested so much, where like my son, for instance, like really like needs to do everything himself. Like you tell him like, hey, come over here, I got to change your diaper, get you changed, get you ready for school today. And he'll be like, no, I do it. I do it, you know, like he's got to be the one to do it. And I'm like, bro, we don't have that much time. We can't just wait for you to do it. It's not that easy.
Andrew Cooper (3:25)
Especially guys like us where it's like we spend so much time, like trying to hammer things down to what's rational and what's not. Like our job is like, let's be rational here. And then you have a daughter who's just like, no. It's like, I know you like strawberries. Like I know for a fact you love strawberries. So don't tell me today the answer is no, right?
JJ Zachariason (3:45)
Yes. Oh, man. Nothing worse than making dinner. And them saying that's what they want to eat. What do you want for breakfast? So I want some yogurt. All right, here's some yogurt. I'm not even sitting and making breakfast in that case, but I'll open a brand new yogurt for you. And then you're like, I don't want yogurt. You told me three minutes ago that you wanted yogurt.
Andrew Cooper (4:05)
Like you said. Yeah.
JJ Zachariason (4:06)
You literally told me that you wanted yogurt.
Andrew Cooper (4:09)
I'm going to be tested, man, because that's my, the irrational behaviors just across the board. Always. Those always drive me nuts when somebody does something I'm like, dude, just use your noggin. And it's hard for me to come to terms with the fact that these noggins just don't work right. They don't.
