Lanterns Episode 6 Spoilers Review, 2026 Reveals!

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to the Green Lantern Review Series. This is Episode 6 I am your host, That Bat Guy Trust now, and I'm joined by, I'm joined by nobody. Because as we talked about last week, Taylor's gone for like two weeks, two weeks, two weeks and a half, something like that. He's got a nice trip, him and the family. We'll hear all about that when he gets back, I imagine, right? If he gets back, he can end up like Hal Jordan, murdered, get to investigate it. Good God. Who would have killed Taylor? But no, we are here to talk about Episode 6, Green Lanterns, or Lanterns, and they said Episode 6, who knows? It's weird, even tonight, doing the like, also I do trash, told you to do solo pods, but even doing this for a second, I was like looking for my headphones. I was like, oh, I'm not going to need those at all. And I'll check my mic, make sure that's good. But yeah, so tonight we're going to talk about Episode 6, as previously mentioned. Taylor is not here. So if you would like to throw in any questions and kind of be my co-host for tonight and likely next week, go ahead. Anything's open, as long as you're respectful. If you're not, I'll just call you out, ban you, and then move on. That's fine, my life's happy enough. I'm not going to stress over anybody being an asshole. So we're talking about Lanterns. As usual, it's a full spoilers conversation, so if you've not seen the episode, best to tune out. Or if you don't care, then you're fine to go. But yeah, send in any questions because you guys will steer some of the conversation. And it was quite an interesting episode here.

I quite enjoyed it. I continue to quite like the show. We are two episodes away. As I've said this before, I know I'm a broken record, but every week we get new people listening, right? And as I've said before, it's just, I've never loved anything, never. It's not like a big deal, right? DCU started last year. It's not like, oh my God, but like still haven't loved anything in the DCU, right? From start to finish. But if this, these last two episodes can stick the landing, which is, I feel always a hard thing to do with these comic book shows. Now the difference is, it sounds like season two is happening, but still the comic shows like, well, you got to kind of end it here so you can go into a movie and then you can go into season two that kind of picks up from stuff. It's, it's difficult with some of these connected universe shows, I'd say, right? With Daredevil wasn't as connected because it was his own thing with Watchmen and mini series, not as difficult, right? Because, okay, we're doing our own thing. So with this one, I have faith from everything I've seen so far, they're going to stick the landing, but you never know. I thought this was a great episode. This is the one we've been waiting for, right? We really have. I think I really have no negatives except for one, which I'll get into. I kind of wrote some bullet points down because I am alone. So I can't have Taylor to steal the conversation for me or like, you know, bounce off each other. But I think there was one big thing which I talked about last week that I'm still not completely sold on with this storyline. And this week they kind of doubled down on it. And I went, like, it works as a structure, but I don't think it's a strong structure. It's like, yeah, OK, that's a house. But can that withstand this or this or this? I don't know. Right. And that's where it's something where what's going on. Oh, I had to turn off. I was watching the football game, the Chiefs and the Colts and I had a little bit of like, what's going on?

So it's something that I still and I don't think there's any fixing it, which I'll get into in a second, but I'm not. It was a great episode. This is what we've been waiting for is 2026 I think we got a lot of answers. We got a lot of Easter eggs and we got a lot of set up in a good way. Not in a way where it's like how they got to finish this all. No, I think next week they're going to clear it the week after because it kind of looks like next week is I guess we're in spoilers, so we don't got to worry about it. Next week, we are getting John or Hal Jordan origin stuff. But I wasn't sure if that was going to be...
