Logan (0:01)

Welcome to Monday Through Sunday. I'm Logan.

Sanam (0:03)

I'm Sanam.

Lane Lepow (0:04)

And I'm Lane. We're best friends, the founders of Blosm Brands, and the hosts of this podcast.

Sanam (0:10)

We can't wait to take you behind the scenes of running a seven-figure agency with our best friends.

Logan (0:14)

We're sharing our mistakes, our lessons learned, and giving you tactical advice to build the career, the business, and the relationships you dream of, and a life you don't need a weekend to escape from.

Lane Lepow (0:25)

So let's get balanced and let's get down to business. Welcome to the show.

Logan (0:32)

Hello and welcome back to the Monday Through Sunday podcast. Today you have Lane and myself here and we are so excited to talk with you with a very special episode. Lane just gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy, Evan. We love him so much. And Lane is so gracious in being willing to share her experience with her birth and everything that she's learned along the way with us that hopefully it will help some of you out there who are going through a similar journey. So Lane, I'm so excited to talk again. We haven't recorded in a while.

Lane Lepow (1:04)

I know it's been so long and it's just like weird being on maternity leave and not like, even though we're friends and we still talk all the time, it's like work makes us talk all day every day. And it like feels weird. I'm like, I feel like I need to talk about work. So I have you guys to talk to all day every day. Like feels so weird. But it's like, it's the boundary that like I need to actually be able to disconnect. So I'm like, okay, I can't, I can't talk about work. I can't do that or else I'll like get sucked back in.

Logan (1:32)

Yeah. No, and I feel like you've done such a good job of disconnecting. Honestly, Sonomanize Strategy has been, we've been still copying you on the good emails, but not copying you on any of the bad emails so that you only know the good things that are going on if you do decide to hop on your phone. So just blew our cover there, but that's what we've been doing.

Lane Lepow (1:48)

Okay. Well, email is actually the only thing I'm somewhat monitoring, because it's like my personal email and my work email. Like I don't have another email. So thank you guys for doing that.

Logan (1:57)

So I appreciate it.

Lane Lepow (2:01)

That's funny. But also thank you so much to you and Sanam. I can't believe that I get to be a business owner and I still get to take a maternity leave. It doesn't feel real and I'm so incredibly grateful. Guys make it seem so easy. I don't know if it is, but you guys are so wonderful and you're like, no, we've got this. And I'm like, but do you really?

Logan (2:20)

No, I'm not going to lie. And truly everything has been fine. And I think, and I remind you guys, and I feel like we all remind each other all the time, that like, this is why we do what we do. Like we have structured our business and our lives this way. So that when you have these big important moments in your life, like getting married or having a baby, that you can really take that time truly to yourself and put work on the back burner, which I think is a privilege that is underrated and not a lot of people have. And that's kind of our mission here with the podcast is to show you how you can maybe craft that into your own life.

Lane Lepow (2:50)

A thousand percent, that was different than a hundred percent. Does that count?

Logan (2:54)

Oh my gosh, yes.

Lane Lepow (2:56)

Hashtag gross. But also I want to take a second, first off to acknowledge our setup right now.

Logan (3:02)

Yeah.

Lane Lepow (3:02)

Sorry, I just hit the mic. We are recording in our studio together for the first time. We like got a whole new setup. It's kind of been a production this morning, getting it to work. So we'll see if it comes to fruition the way that we hope, but I'm optimistic.

Logan (3:16)

Same. I feel so professional.

Lane Lepow (3:17)

It's crazy. I'm feeling well rested. My son is sleeping now, like three to four hours at a time at night, and I'm so shook. I'm like, how are you doing this already? You're growing up so quick.

Logan (3:29)

A model child. I would expect nothing less from the baby of you and Sam Lepow.
