The Knicks signed multiple players. I've been waiting for the Knicks to add more sides to this team for a while. Not any more guards, but players with sides. Actual wings. And the Knicks just did that. We'll be able to see these players in tonight's Summer League game against the Nets. Meet the newest Knicks.
Former Bismarck Demon shooting guard, Treysen Eaglestaff, will be part of the Knicks 2026 Summer League team. He went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft. According to the official announcement on the AppX, it states the following, West Virginia's Treysen Eaglestaff will join the New York Knicks for the NBA Summer League. The 6'6, sharp shooter, drilled 281 threes in his college career, earning an All-Summit League honors at North Dakota before his venture to Morgantown. But the Knicks didn't stop there. They also added this following player to their Summer League roster.
Former Missouri State forward, Keith Palek III, will be taking his talents to the Big Apple. Palek has signed the Summer League contract with the New York Knicks. The former Bear will join the reigning defending champions during Summer League. And he's going to be playing for a two-way contract. I really can't believe it. The Knicks just signed two wings. Trey, he's a phenomenal shooter already. With Keith, he's a more raw prospect. But he has all the tools necessary to make it at the NBA level. Honestly speaking here, development will be key for both of these players reaching the levels that they want to reach. Here's more information on both of these players. The New York Knicks are taking a chance on one of college basketball's most explosive scorers, signing a 6 foot 6 wing in Treysen Eaglestaff. Eaglestaff began his college career at the University of North Dakota, where he quickly established himself as one of the top scorers in the Summit League. Across three seasons with the Fighting Hawks, he averaged 12.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, while knocking down an impressive 221 three-pointers. His breakout junior season saw him average 18.9 points per game, earn second team all Summit League honors, and put himself on the national radar. His biggest performances were unforgettable. Eaglestaff erupted for a Summit League Tournament record 51 points against South Dakota State, and earlier that season dropped 40 points against the sixth ranked Alabama, proving he could produce against elite competition. He also finished his college career with 281 made three-pointers, showcasing the shooting ability that caught the Knicks attention. For his final season, Eaglestaff transferred to West Virginia, where he started all 35 games, and helped lead the Mountaineers to the 2026 College Basketball Crown Championship. While his scoring dipped to 9.8 points, along with 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, he remained the key starter and connected on 63-pointers during the season. Although he went undrafted in the 2026 NBA Draft, Eaglestaff's combination of size, shot-making, and proven scoring ability earned him a summer league opportunity with the New York Knicks. At 6'6, he has the frame teams are looking for on the wing, and his ability to heat up beyond the arc makes him an intriguing prospect. Now let's turn our attention to Keith Palek III. One of the more intriguing additions to the Knicks Summer League roster is 6'9 forward Keith Palek III, the Woodbine New Jersey native took an unconventional path to this opportunity, beginning his college career at Division II California University of Pennsylvania before transferring to Missouri State for his final season. Palek made the jump to Division I without missing a beat. He led Missouri State in scoring and assist, averaging 17.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, while earning second-team All-Conference US honors. He also became the first player in school history to record at least 500 points, 200 rebounds, and 100 assists in a single season. Before transferring, he was also a standout at the Division II level, earning first-team All-PSAC and NABC All-District honors. What makes Palek interesting is his versatility. At 6'9, he has the size to play multiple front-court positions, while also handling the ball and making advanced reads.
