The Knicks get more good news. The Knicks just keep on winning. They won everything at the NBA level, and last night, they won everything at the ESPYs. An absolute clean sweep.
I posted this on the YouTube channel via the post section. If you haven't seen it already, please go ahead and do that. As you can see, Jalen Brunson continues to add trophies to the shelf. The Knicks won every category that they were nominated for in the ESPYs. Another sweep to add to the books. Here's what the Knicks won exactly. Best NBA player, Jalen Brunson. Best male sports athlete, Jalen Brunson. Best championship performance, Jalen Brunson. Best play, OG Ananobe. And best team, The New York Knicks. The Knicks have literally won it all. New York runs the whole damn world.
The trophy case is getting very full. At this point, you might need a trophy room. I love what I saw last night. I'm not too big into the ESPYs. I don't watch it all the time. But given the season the Knicks had, I knew I needed to watch it. And the Knicks, they just keep on winning. Jalen Brunson, he keeps on winning. They keep adding trophies to the shelf. And I absolutely love it. This is amazing news to receive. New York has changed the entire NBA landscape in one single season. But that's not the only good news I have to talk about today. We also have an update on exactly when Jalen Brunson's wrist was injured and how JB is feeling right now. Take a look at these updates.
Shout out to The New York Post's Zach Berziller for giving us this following information. According to him, during an appearance on ESPN Radio on Wednesday, the Knicks captain revealed he began feeling discomfort in that wrist in Game 2 of the ECF against the Cavaliers. According to Brunson exactly, there wasn't a play I remember it happening. I just remember being at the free throw line in the third or fourth quarter of Game 2 of the ECF, my wrist was starting to feel weak. I was like, where is this coming from? From that point on, I was trying to figure out what was going on and how I could push through it. Because I wasn't going to get anything done during that time. Brunson recently underwent surgery to repair a tendon issue in his left hand and wrist. The Post reported July 7th. The timeline then was 6 to 8 weeks. Brunson said the following about his wrist surgery, I'm good. It's obviously going to take a little bit of time. Jalen Brunson feels good. And honestly, that's the best news to hear about the captain. Without a doubt, he will be ready and available once the Knicks start training camp. But did you think I was done? Did you think that was all the good news? No no no no no.

Congratulations to Amar'e Stoudemire, stat. The Knicks continued to add Hall of Famers to the ranks. And Amar'e, he's now part of that. When he was healthy, he was so dominant. There was a reason the Knicks added him to the team at that point in time. What I always wished is that we had a few more healthy seasons of stat with New York.
