The Knicks just received amazing news about Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and their preseason schedule. But unfortunately, Patrick Ewing is saying goodbye to New York, at least for now.
We're going to break down all of these latest reports today.

And now, let's get started.
The Knicks receive amazing news. I love receiving amazing news, especially when it's about the Knicks. This first piece of amazing news has to deal with the Knicks and their preseason schedule. We actually have some information on that already. Shout out to New York Basketball on the AppX and Sleeper Knicks for giving us this following information. According to them, the Knicks preseason schedule has been partially released. The Knicks have not released their own preseason schedule yet, but the Raptors have. So we have more information on these following dates. On October 13th, Tuesday at 7 p.m., it'll be the Knicks versus the Raptors in Toronto. Then on October 15th, which is a Thursday at 7 p.m., it will be the Raptors taking on the Knicks at MSG.
The Knicks are still yet to announce their preseason schedule, but we can lock in these two matchups with the Raptors. Teams can have a maximum of six preseason games, but usually only have about four, meaning that the Knicks likely have two to three additional preseason games to place on the schedule.
I can't wait for next season to begin. Honestly, I miss Knicks basketball, but that's not the only piece of good news we have to discuss today. Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson, they're already in the lab working on their game. And the main reason why is because they know what the rest of this Knicks team knows. The work that helped you get the NBA Championship, you don't change that going into next season. What you do is, you do your best to do the exact same thing, so you can get the same results. And this Knicks team, they're doing that. That's why when they were asked this following question, they had this response. Take a look. Matt Hillman of The Roommate's Podcast asked Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart this following question. Obviously, this is the first off season where you guys are coming off of a championship, right? So you guys are going to have a target on your back going into next season. So what about your off season routine? Do you keep it the same? What do you change? What do you build on knowing that's the case? And according to Josh Hart, he said the following, I think the beauty of it is that nothing really changes when you believe in your work, believe in doing what got you there, and you get to the top of the mountain, you don't change what got you there. I think when you do that, it's somewhat foolish. So for me, my off season is the same thing, working on my body, working on my shot, trying to figure out ways to be effective, and helping these guys out. So for me, nothing changes. And for the captain in Jalen Brunson, he feels the exact same way.
Yeah, it doesn't change. I think the fun part about this is obviously that coming off of a win, it's a lot sweeter. But the quicker we move on from this, is the quicker we'll be ready to be better next season.
Do you know what you call that mindset? A championship mindset. And I'm so happy to hear the Knicks already have that. And that's gonna help them go a very long way next season. This last piece of good news that we have to talk about has to do with Jalen Brunson. His stock is rising in all the right ways.
According to ESPN, Jalen Brunson's stock is rising. Brunson wasn't one of the final 12 players I projected on my initial sketch of the 2028 Olympic roster. But it's hard to deny the finals MVP that forecasted spot now. He has won at every level. A state championship in high school. Two national championships in college. And now a champion in the NBA.
