Knicks trade update. A trade is coming. The Knicks are looking to make a move immediately to keep the players they want on this roster. New York is currently talking to multiple teams about making a trade.

Shout out to NBA insider Brett Siegel for giving us this following information. The NBA insider revealed that discussions have already taken place with more than one team. Nothing is finalized yet. The Knicks have been in talks with at least two teams from what I've been told. I'm waiting to hear back more on that.

I already know the question you have on your mind. What players or player are the Knicks looking to move via trade? It's either going to be Pacome Dadiet, Tyler Kolek or Miles Mcbride. According to Steph Bondi with the New York Post, Tyler Kolek and Pacome Dadiet are the most logical trade pieces. Both have team options next season with no progress toward extensions. Kolek has more value in the trade market, but has struggled in the preseason, shooting just 36%.

Kolek is earning 2.3 million this season, which is about 700k less than Dadiet, in order to keep both James Wiseman and Bruce Brown, the Knicks would have to complete a trade by October 19th. Kolek was part of the rotation for parts of last season, but was replaced by Jose Alvarado and started racking up DNPs. Shout out to James L. Edwards with The Athletic for giving us this following information. Even though I believe that having Miles McBride, who is in the last year of a very team-friendly deal on the roster would give The Knicks a better chance at repeating, all signs are pointing to a trade at some point involving Deuce McBride. These reports regarding a trade coming has been confirmed by multiple NBA insiders. According to Brett Siegel of Clutch Points, he said the following, New York is no longer merely gauging Dadiet's value and has advanced to active discussions with potential suitors. According to Siegel exactly, we've been told here at Clutch Points, we reported on it a little bit ago, that New York are actively looking at trade avenues involving Pacome Dadiet. He has not really found a role with the Knicks at this point. He's going to be an end of the bench guy, just being thrown in the game for garbage time. I've already said this, but it needs to be confirmed. You all need to understand. The main reason New York is seeking to make a trade right now is because they want to keep James Wiseman and Bruce Brown on this team. Wiseman, he's already locked up that 14th spot, but Bruce Brown, he can't join the team unless New York makes the trade. Because if New York signs him and adds him to the team, then they'll trigger the second apron. Shout out to Ian Bagley for giving us this following information.

Wiseman is a lot to make the roster. There is strong support to add Brown as well. The Knicks would need to make a trade by Monday afternoon if they want to keep Brown. I think they will explore all avenues to make that happen. It's logical to assume that the Knicks will move third-year wing Pacome Dadiet. But I believe New York will explore other deals, including trades involving third-year guard Tyler Kolek, this weekend and Monday.

But in order for the Knicks to make this trade happen, they're going to have to attach several second-round picks to any deal.
