The Eric Deters commercial. So here's Kimberly Guilfoyle, who apparently little weird guys on what's going on here.
So she is speaking to this guy named Eric Deters, who a couple of years ago, Deeter, whatever you want to call him, Eric Deeter, he comes out and he has receipts. And he shows that he gave her $300,000 for speaking fee and appearance fee, including Freedom Fest events, $50,000 for consulting fee, and another $100,000 for consulting. And up to a million dollars of if she can get him on Tucker Carlson. He wanted to be on Tucker Carlson. If he was able to pull it off, she was going to get apparently a million dollars. This is what he's claiming. Get access to Attorney General Pam Bondi and then arrange a meeting with IRS Commissioner Billy Long. He wanted assistance addressing a 2020 tax deduction dispute that he has. Then get the DOJ to investigate METPRO group and then obtain broader publicity for Durrani victims and, last but not least, literally this is one of the things, Vinnie, get his song lyrics to Kid Rock. And if he did that, she was going to get a million bucks. Well, she at the end in a text message asks him, can you give me $100,000 for me to pay off my American Express balance?
Then, the story comes out with the new press secretary, Katie, who is being asked about Kimberly Guilfoyle and this is what she had to say. I don't know if you guys got the clip in the back or not. She says, you know, we appreciate her for her service, but we have decided to move on. Go forward.
SPEAKER_3 (2:08)
I have two questions for you.
First of all, on Kimberly Guilfoyle, the Daily Mail has been reporting on her since last year. The president said yesterday to reporters that he is considering firing her. Do you know a timeline for that? And also, potentially, who could be on the short list to replace her if he does? We have asked Ambassador Guilfoyle to resign. She has been a wonderful asset to the team, and we wish her well.
Patrick Bet-David (2:35)
So that's that. And then the president was asked about it. I don't know if you have the president's clip about, you know, she was part of the family. I don't know if you got the clip in the back. I think you do.
Tom (2:44)
He was saying no.
Patrick Bet-David (2:45)
Yeah, here's what he had to say.
SPEAKER_8 (2:48)
We're not happy.
Patrick Bet-David (2:49)
We're not happy.
SPEAKER_7 (2:50)
You said Rukai and Ukraine agreed to a cease-fire, but both sides say they have not agreed.
Patrick Bet-David (2:55)
Is this it or this is not it?
SPEAKER_7 (2:56)
Let's watch.
SPEAKER_8 (2:56)
No, she wasn't a member of my family.
SPEAKER_9 (3:05)
She was doing a good job, but we didn't like what we were reading.
Patrick Bet-David (3:10)
Okay, so now this leads me to stories now coming out of her releasing a burn book with dirt on the president's family, right, with all the stuff that came out, which, by the way, you know, that's pretty valuable with all the information. There's a lot of people that hate the family that would love to have a story like this that comes out. Tom, when you hear a story like this, how bad is this? How bad is the look? What do you think will happen next?
Tom (3:35)
So first of all, there's one part in this that's very normal and typical in political circles. And that is, I don't know this guy and I'm not criticizing him, but there are people that make donations and they're called lobbyists on one level. This is, hey, I need an audience with the president. We're gonna donate 500 to the re-election campaign. When this is over, we'd like an audience. I wanna talk about X, not X the social media. I wanna talk about, you know, legislation in my industry. I wanna talk about awareness for these topics that matter to my kind of company. So people do that and there is a quid pro quo in there for a future meeting. Maybe something's not gonna be signed, maybe it's not gonna be done, but there's a quid pro quo for meetings. Hey, you know, Vinny, let me take you to dinner. I'd like you to introduce me to the owner of the comedy store, right? This happens all the time. Will you do that for me? And they buy you dinner, they whatever. So all of that goes on. So it seems kind of normal that a person's gonna be approaching an insider, and Kimberly Guilfoyle was an insider. Now, the part about song lyrics becomes kind of funny, but set that aside. So that first part doesn't seem terribly crazy to me. The part that is just odd is all of the stuff that's coming out. I got pictures of credit cards and pictures of guys junk, and I got this list and all that. That's like, ugh, you don't want that to go out there. And by the way, there were stories out there that said this was kind of why Trump sent her to Greece to be ambassador, to give her something meaningfully to do, to see if she could perform in that function, and that be way over there and out of the spotlight and away from the American media.
