We're going to overturn gay marriage. That's what we're doing.
We are going to retake marriage on behalf of children. That over the last almost 11 years of having this Obergefell decision that mandated gay marriage across the country, over and above the objections of probably 30 states that had defined marriage as the relationship between a man and a woman in their own constitutions. Over the last 11 years, we have seen a complete reordering of the parenthood laws across the country. There is a direct connection between gay marriage and child commodification. When you legalize gay marriage, you must redefine the family. You must redefine every aspect of the natural family.
It's unacceptable because what you're doing is you're saying in the name of adult equality, in the name of non-discrimination, we need to strip children of their own mother and father, so that we can have equal rights. That's not just a problem for the children made intentionally motherless and fatherless, who are being raised in same-sex homes. That actually is a problem for every parent and every child, because what happened with the decision of gay marriage is well, we can go into that like legally, how much ever you want to know, but the bottom line is like, this is an absolute restructuring of everything that connects to marriage, family, parenthood, and actually what it means to be a human child. So we've got 11 years of receipts of how gay marriage has impacted parenthood law, and we, the coalition, you included, you're, thank God, we're so grateful to be one of our official partners.
