Everybody's chasing the next thing, the next opportunity, the next dream. But very few people are willing to leave everything they know and bet on themselves. All the while staying the same person when the world around you is changing. But our guest today, he did just that. He started out working at Footlocker telling jokes with his homeboy, moved from Orlando to Austin at just the age of 21 with nothing but belief in his talent. Kam Patterson never stopped betting on himself. Also, his father bet on him when the rest of the world didn't even believe. And then came Kill Tony, sold out rooms, and now the biggest stage in entertainment, Saturday Night Live. But success hasn't changed him. We talk about growing up around what he called tough guys in the O and hooping. Sometimes the ball went in, sometimes it didn't. And now that white women are sliding into his DMs, he wants everybody to know. He got the same girl. I mean, sometimes they're up, sometimes they're down, but right now they're up. He also explains why Saturday Night Live has been the hardest challenge of his career. And he refuses to become somebody different just because life has changed. And somewhere along the way guys, we get off track and he starts making fun of my workouts. And you know Chan love that. It's honest, it's hilarious. Where my camera at? Right here? I love, I love my momma black, my grandma black. I love my black queens. And on SNL, I shot my shot at a black queen. And she didn't respond, which is okay, it's cool, man. I'm still, I'm still waiting. It's all good. But I want to understand, what did happen was, when I shot my shot at Meg, I landed up in Snowbank in heaven. So, if I f*** the white bitch, can't nobody be mad at me, because I tried.
