Until he became the Raiders' Spanish announcer, said some great calls, and he also has a disgusting, nauseating Dodgers podcast that he started last year when he jumped on the bandwagon when they were doing good.
But you know what was glorious? The seven days when the news broke that they were going to be trading for Skubal, and the seven days straight with the Dodgers lost seven straight games. Yes.

It's like we're not used to those days no more.

Did you get the feeling that that was the baseball gods maybe telling you guys?

It happened right after they visited the president too. It's like, all right, what is it? Us going for Skubal, us visiting the president, what's going on here? But it was rough times, but we're out of it. I mean, well, kind of. We beat the Royals, we beat the Rockies, but we lost the series against the Braves, three to one. So they got the tiebreaker now. They got the best record in the National League.

Right. You know what's interesting too this year in baseball is that there doesn't seem to be like the Dodgers don't seem like they're going to run away with it.
You know what I'm saying? They're definitely one of the most strong contender, probably the favorite. But there seems like the gaps close because the Braves are good again. The Phillies are getting right there. But the funny thing is the Brewers, I think for a day the Brewers had the best record in baseball, maybe or maybe they still do. But nobody trusts them in the playoffs.
Nobody thinks they're going to even get out of the National League because they do this every single year. Go ahead.

Well, you remember last year, right? They swept the Dodgers in the regular season 6-0, and then the Dodgers swept them in the NLCS 4-0.

**Konnan** (4:22)
It's like debt taxes and then Milwaukee doesn't do anything in the playoffs, like every single year. They're not expected. I think it's definitely going to come down to either the Braves Dodgers or the Phillies.

**John Poz** (4:37)
I think the Phillies can beat the Dodgers, to be honest.

**Konnan** (4:40)
They can.
You know what I was surprised at? Is that I don't think the Dodgers can go two years, if they have to go, if they play Philly again, right? They went into Philly and handled business last year. Yeah, but Philly blew it.

I'm aware of that, but that was the big question mark. That was the pathway that the Dodgers could have trouble with getting through that crowd in Philly, because the Philly playoff crowd is crazy. They're all very tough to beat.
I just wonder if there's a revenge factor this year combined with a lack of hunger because the Dodgers won it last year. How that's going to go again if they play again? You know what I'm saying? I would find it hard to believe that the Dodgers are going to take care of business in Philly again with that angle. What do you think, Harry?

The thing is, last year the Dodgers had an embarrassment of riches when it came to starting pitchers. This year, add Tarik Skubal to the mix. Blake Snow is back. His two starts have been fantastic. Tyler Glass now, he just had his last rehab start yesterday. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been incredible this year. Same thing as Roki Sasaki in the second half of the season. And then add Shohei Otani, who just pitched another bullpen two days ago. It's just too much. The Dodgers are too deep for any other team to be able to, for example, the Phillies, they have two fantastic starters. The Brewers, they have Jacob Mizorowski. But you're only going to face them twice per series. And Mizorowski has been 4 innings.
