Hey, let me get back to the beginning. The fans sang Ospreay's name. He thanked them and said it had been a year since they talked. He said he started his career in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. He talked about showing people that the UKs were the best wrestlers. He listed some of the British greats he learned from and mentioned the names of some British wrestlers who are no longer with us.
He said, AEW Champion Kenny Omega wasn't at the show, which drew some boos. He spoke about Omega being the best for a decade and said, all of his respect for Omega disappeared when Omega mentioned his son.
Ospreay said, there is a debt he needs to pay to his parents, his wife and his son. It's time to bring it home, Ospreay said. That's Jason Powell's synopsis of the promo. It was a way longer promo than that, but it's just like, dude, Ospreay and Omega both talk long and it's just like, you're not really glued to what they're saying. What do you think of this?

I enjoyed it, but at the same time, it wasn't like super intriguing. There's some hometown stuff that he included in there with the Brit wrestlers and all that. But I'm like, I feel that I've heard this story before, maybe with other words, with other wrestlers, but it was nothing new that made me go like, oh my God, I can't wait to root for Will Ospreay. This is the reason why I'm going to root for Will Ospreay, because he went through the British wrestling scene going up and he had a second job waking up at six in the morning on Monday. I'm like, eh, no.

I was just, I'm sorry to have to cut you off. I was alarmed that the thing that he mentioned was Omega not being there. This is the WrestleMania, quote unquote, eight days of WrestleMania, the biggest show of the year. Omega literally isn't on the show? Like what? How is that possible? Austin's fighting Rock. WrestleMania 17, oh Austin's not here today. Like what? That would never happen in a million years. That was what alarmed me the most about that promo. I was like, wait a second, why the hell isn't Kenny Omega in the building? What, where is he? That was, that's ridiculous. I've got, I've got an issue.
