Oh my goodness, you guys. We are going to Weathersfield this morning. Maria's on the line. She thinks her boyfriend Kyle is cheating, and we're gonna find out. Good morning, Maria.
Maria (0:09)
Morning.
Courtney (0:11)
Welcome to War of the Roses. I hope we can get you some answers, but before we can even get into it, tell us why you think your boyfriend's cheating. What's going on?
Maria (0:20)
I mean, he's just acting really weird. Okay. I mean, like, he's just so strange lately. I mean, he used to text me every night when he would leave work.
Courtney (0:29)
Okay.
Maria (0:29)
And now, like, I don't hear from him for, like, hours after he gets out. And then he's been going out after work with co-workers, like, every Friday night and not even inviting me.
Courtney (0:39)
Wait, he doesn't invite you. He'll go out Friday night after work, but not call his girlfriend and say, do you want to meet us for a drink?
Maria (0:46)
Yeah. Like, I mean, at least for hours, he might, like, you know, it's like, I know he got out of work at, like, five, and then it'll be like 10, 30, 11 And he's like, oh, hey, babe.
Courtney (0:57)
Okay.
Maria (0:58)
The biggest issue is I saw a text from his coworker, Megan, and it says that he had, she had, that Megan had a great time with him last night.
Jeff (1:09)
Okay. Well, thank you for, thank you for putting the biggest part second and not first.
I probably would have led with that one.
Maria (1:17)
I mean, I don't want to admit that. I mean, it's like, that's like, he's clearly, something's up, and Megan is available to help whatever's going up, you know?
Jeff (1:27)
And I'm like...
Courtney (1:29)
All right. So you're telling us, Kyle is no longer texting you after work, going out Friday nights after work with coworkers, which I'm assuming Megan might be joining them?
Jeff (1:40)
Yeah.
Maria (1:41)
Megan, yeah. Megan works with him.
Courtney (1:43)
Okay. And then you find this text message, or you see it on his phone, this is, I had a great night last night, from his coworker. Red flag.
Maria (1:50)
Yes, where I was not invited. So like, what's going on?
Courtney (1:53)
So this is what we're going to do. We're going to have you on hold. We will call. You obviously know where the Roses, Kyle, and the florist will offer roses. We'll try to get some information out of them. And at any point, if you want to jump in, you can, or I can bring you into the conversation. Okay?
Maria (2:07)
Okay.
Courtney (2:07)
Hold on. Who's the florist?
Jeff (2:11)
It's Wal-Mart Jeff today.
Courtney (2:14)
Great. Sorry, Jeff.
Jeff (2:21)
Hello?
Kyle (2:22)
Hi.
Jeff (2:22)
Good morning. Is Kyle there?
Courtney (2:25)
Yeah.
Kyle (2:25)
This is Kyle.
Jeff (2:26)
Hey, Kyle. This is Jared from Flowers Express. You got a minute?
Kyle (2:32)
Yeah, I do. I did not inquire with you guys.
Jeff (2:35)
That's great. That doesn't really matter because you actually won a dozen roses in our online weekly contest. Congratulations.
Kyle (2:45)
Yeah. As long as you're peon reeled, cool.
Jeff (2:49)
No. Like I said, this is Flowers Express. We're new in Weathersfield in your area. Basically, we just want to get our name out there. So basically what we do is we hook people up with a dozen roses, but here's the catch because there's always a catch, right?
Right. That's what I was worried about. We're not actually going to send the flowers to you. We're actually going to send the flowers to someone on your behalf.
Kyle (3:10)
Okay. Yeah, I would love that. That's what it is.
Jeff (3:13)
All right. Like I said, it's a beautiful dozen roses. We have a card we can attach to the flowers as well. If you can think of a message to write on the card, we can get that out there for you.
Kyle (3:24)
Yeah, that's really cool. I literally just, I love you would be perfect actually.
Jeff (3:30)
All right. We can get that down for you. And who should I address the card to?
Kyle (3:36)
I guess just to my girlfriend Maria would be perfect.
Jeff (3:39)
All right. Yeah, definitely. We can get those out to her today. You guys been together a while. Things are going good.
Kyle (3:46)
Yeah, that's the love of my life. I think that'd be a really cool surprise.
Courtney (3:50)
All right. I got to jump on right now. Jeff, stop. Kyle, it is Courtney. Savannah is here and the florist is Walmart. Jeff, you're on Kiss 95-7, Kyle.
