Joe Rogan (0:03)
Here we go, Liam and Vinny, my savage friends from Mother England.
Good to see you again, man. What's happening? How's it been?
Vinny Shoreman (0:10)
All sorts of things are going on, Joe. All sorts of things.
Liam Harrison (0:13)
Birthday boy over here as well, 50 today.
Joe Rogan (0:15)
Happy birthday, sir.
You don't look good today, over 49 and a half. Looking good.
Vinny Shoreman (0:20)
I can feel it.
Liam Harrison (0:22)
I feel it. I pulled a muscle in my leg balling last night.
Joe Rogan (0:25)
Oh, no.
Liam Harrison (0:26)
Bad news, man.
Joe Rogan (0:26)
When you're a world kickboxing champion and you pull a muscle, Bowen goes a sad time.
Liam Harrison (0:30)
He's pathetic.
I was looking at myself in the mirror this morning when I got up and thought, you are a loser, mate. What have you done?
Joe Rogan (0:36)
The worst neck injuries I ever got was in the shower. I was just turning to get my shampoo. I was just like that. I'm like, ah, fuck, fuck, fuck.
Just popped.
Look at that. Knocked over Roy McDonald and Bruce Lee with my shenanigans, with my antics. Yeah, that's a bummer, man.
Liam Harrison (0:52)
Bowling? Bowling, mate.
The thing is, well, I felt it. I thought, I've done myself in here, but I can't lose the game, and I carried on. At least I won the game.
Joe Rogan (0:59)
Well, imagine if, like, you had a workout and your trainer was like, okay, we're going to do some bowling. You're like, how the fuck?
This isn't even an effort.
Liam Harrison (1:06)
I won't mind. Yesterday morning, I did some hard round sparring. I've got a little black eye from it and stuff, clinching, running, fine.
Joe Rogan (1:12)
No problems.
Liam Harrison (1:13)
Bowling.
Joe Rogan (1:13)
Well, maybe it was like some residual stiffness.
Liam Harrison (1:16)
Do you know what? We've been driving around a lot. We've been, the schedule's been hectic. We've had seminars and stuff going on. We've been sat in the car a lot, so my hips have been stiff. So I think it was to do with that, to be honest, because it's right up here on my hip where I'm doing something.
Joe Rogan (1:26)
Yeah, man, that's legit. That's a big deal. When I come out of here, when I just get up after sitting in a chair for five hours, everything feels weird. You know, you've got to roll it and stretch.
Vinny Shoreman (1:37)
I wake up as if I've been fucking beat up. I don't know what that's all about.
Joe Rogan (1:41)
What are you doing?
Vinny Shoreman (1:42)
Nightmare demons.
Joe Rogan (1:43)
What have you been up to?
Vinny Shoreman (1:44)
I don't know. I've been asleep.
Joe Rogan (1:46)
What's that?
Vinny Shoreman (1:47)
I've been asleep, so I don't know.
Joe Rogan (1:48)
You've been asleep?
Vinny Shoreman (1:48)
No. Every time I wake up, I'm like fucking hell in the morning, so I don't know what goes on.
Part of my feet, my hips, whatever.
Joe Rogan (1:54)
Yeah, but you're 50 I get it. With him, I don't get it.
Liam Harrison (1:57)
Yeah, I know.
Joe Rogan (1:58)
You're supposed to be.
Vinny Shoreman (1:59)
Yeah, we've had about 300 fights, aren't you?
Joe Rogan (2:03)
The craziest fucking record ever is probably Lomachenko, right? Because didn't you only have one loss in the amateurs?
Liam Harrison (2:08)
398 wins?
Joe Rogan (2:10)
Something crazy like that.
Vinny Shoreman (2:11)
397
Joe Rogan (2:13)
397 wins, one loss.
Vinny Shoreman (2:16)
Which he reversed twice.
Joe Rogan (2:18)
And then one loss in the pros.
Liam Harrison (2:20)
He's obviously not taking too much damage either because of his style, but even making weight, 398 times making weight and stuff, that takes it.
Joe Rogan (2:29)
Yeah.
Liam Harrison (2:29)
Being on a diet for that long and just being that strict for that long, it's impressive that.
Joe Rogan (2:33)
Well, as he's moving up, he's not cutting as much though, like in his third weight class. This is his third weight class, right?
Vinny Shoreman (2:38)
Yeah, they're on about him moving down as well.
Joe Rogan (2:42)
He's going up and down?
Vinny Shoreman (2:43)
Yeah. That's what Bob Byron said.
Joe Rogan (2:45)
But his last fight against the Englishman, what is his name, Connolly?
Vinny Shoreman (2:49)
Luke Campbell.
Joe Rogan (2:50)
Campbell.
Vinny Shoreman (2:50)
I was there.
Joe Rogan (2:51)
There was a great fight. That kid's good.
Liam Harrison (2:53)
He put a really good account of himself, because most people in England had wrote him off before it even started.
