Fore Play

October 8, 2026

LIV Golf 2.0 is barely off the ground, and Jon Rahm has delivered a crushing blow to the league’s future. The news broke just minutes after we finished recording, but we still talk plenty about Rahm, the future of LIV, and what it all means for Bryson DeChambeau.

Speakers Sam Riggs Bozoian, Frankie Borrelli, Luggage Guy Trent, Dan Rapaport, Kevin Kisner

Hey, Fore Play listeners, you can find us every Tuesday and Thursday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon Music. Chevy is called the heartbeat of America for a reason. They got something for everyone. We got a lovely show today, so much so that Kis actually complements our takes.

Kis complements our takes at some point, which is extremely rare for us. We got Trent still in London. Frankie's back from a little Poconos vacation. We got LIV. We got discussions over players, incentives, regrets. We got all kinds of Ryder Cup talk from Jim Feerick doing a press conference. That just throws us into a little bit of a tizzy about the future and where to go.

It's all brought to you by Chevy, gentlemen, which is the heartbeat of America.

Frankie Borrelli (0:44)

Chevrolet American cars driving from coast to coast, north and south. We'll be on the road here a ton in the fall. I got a bunch of pop punk shows going on, so I'll be getting in big Chevys with a lot of equipment. They really can house whatever you'd like, whether it be stuff for a travel, if you're going with your family for a vacation, if you're packing up for a concert, if you're packing up for a golf trip, all these different types of the tracks, the Traverse, the Equinox, the Suburbans, the list goes on and on.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (1:10)

Goes on and on. We got a lot of great options. And look, Chevy's been doing it for a century, so they know what they're doing. They've been representing that bow tie in the United States of America for a long, long, long time. They got great options on their SUV lineup. You could have plenty of spacious room in the back for all of your things, golf clubs, camera equipment, families, whatever it might be, the Traverse, the Equinox, the Trax, each loaded with that great tech that keeps everything in sync from road trip music to long haul navigation. Check out that lineup at chevy.com. Once again, that is chevy.com.

Luggage Guy Trent (1:44)

What's up, my brother?

Dan Rapaport (1:46)

I got a buddy who struggles with that shot.

I like his name, it's Frankie Borrelli. So the guys actually gave him a nickname of Butter Knives because he always knives it across the green.

Luggage Guy Trent (1:57)

Broke a hundred.

Dan Rapaport (1:58)

Yeah.

Luggage Guy Trent (1:58)

Now you gotta break 90

Dan Rapaport (2:00)

We appreciate what you guys do for golf.

Luggage Guy Trent (2:01)

You've been really cool.

Dan Rapaport (2:02)

Thank you. You're making it cool, we appreciate it.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (2:05)

I was like, hey, Phil, you owe me fucking $29.99.

Kevin Kisner (2:07)

And he grabs a hundred.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (2:08)

He's like, yeah, I won $90,000 of these yesterday.

Frankie Borrelli (2:11)

He goes, take a hundred and you go fuck yourself. What are you guys talking about?

Kevin Kisner (2:15)

Um, this ain't a hobby.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (2:19)

Fore Play presented by Barstool Sports. We got the entire gang back. We've got Ryan Richa behind the scenes, so we'll thank him off the top. We got Frankie has returned. Kis is in a very cool room per usual. And we have got Trent in his same spot coming off yet another huge, huge English breakfast with an American flag. I'm glad you got that photograph, Trent. That made me laugh out loud when I saw it.

Luggage Guy Trent (2:42)

Yeah, because I wanted people to see first of all, that I was telling the truth and for them to get a visual on just an American flag on a tiny little toothpick sticking out of pancake breakfast. And yeah, they profiled me, which is fine, but they profiled me.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (2:59)

Accurately, incredibly accurately.

Kevin Kisner (3:03)

Did you go back to the same breakfast joint and got the same order again?

Luggage Guy Trent (3:07)

No, I have not gone back to that place again. No, I went this morning, I went to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard, but it rained and they didn't do it.

Riggs and I were saying before we started, like, what kind of guards, you know, it's rain. You can get out rain.

Sam Riggs Bozoian (3:27)

They cancel that thing due to rain. You're in England. You're in the UK. It rains every day there and they're supposed to be guarding, you know, if you're like an opposing threat, you just wait for bad weather and you can just get by the guards. It's unacceptable.
