I went to a movie theater for the first time in like seven years this week. And I gotta say, it's the best way to watch movies. It always has been. It always has been, but I mean, it really is. I mean, who is it? James Cameron, Christopher Nolan. They're right. It's the best way to watch movies. So, you know, go back to a movie theater if you have a chance.

Okay. Firstly, what did you see?

**Bobby** (0:55)
I saw Backrooms, which is... It was not the best written movie. I've heard the web series is way better, like that that Cain Parsons did the whole thing for, right?
But I thought it was shot really well. And so I thought, especially with all the liminal spaces and stuff, like in the theater, it just gave it more...
It felt, I think, better than watching it on TV at home. Yeah. Cool. Yeah.

Hi. I want to get out of the way. I am a little sick. But Steve, I have to say, I was watching your Minecraft stream and I was dying. That had to have been the worst thing I ever viewed in my life.
No, actually, I kind of loved it. It was awesome.

But I think this is like the Pokémon problem, right? People have played Pokémon for 20 some years.

**Austin** (1:44)
Yeah. No, you're right.

**Steve Sarumi** (1:45)
And so they just go like, oh, it's easy. I know what I'm doing. I don't want this tutorial.
I think about the people who play that for the first time of like, no, this tutorial kind of matters. And maybe you shouldn't skip it. And then in Minecraft, everyone is telling me what to do. But there's like a million things they want me to do. And I'm like, I'm five minutes in this game and I don't even know how to adjust my FOV right now.

Like, yeah, yeah, no, it was awesome.

**Steve Sarumi** (2:12)
But Minecraft's been around for 15? Almost.

**Austin** (2:16)
Yeah, something like that.

**Steve Sarumi** (2:18)
It's been a while. Yeah, so at one point, because, okay, for the, I had like a paid ad Minecraft stream. All I had to do is play Minecraft for an hour. And the ad was like, you can do whatever you want in Minecraft. And I was like, great, I'm going to learn how to play Minecraft. I'm not going to like pregame the ad. I'm going to learn how to play.
And at some point somebody was like, oh, you got a bone, you can feed that to a dog and then the dog will be your friend. And I'm like, there's no way this was in the like 15 years ago. And they were like, no, they added it like three years ago.

It was longer than three. Let's just say that. No, I mean, they keep adding stuff, right? There's like so many new things that like even I still don't even know what they are. Right. So, but I play Minecraft pretty on and off frequently.

**Bobby** (3:01)
Does Microsoft still own Minecraft? Are they still the?

**Steve Sarumi** (3:05)
Yeah. I think they still own it.

**Bobby** (3:07)
Got it. Got it.

**Steve Sarumi** (3:08)
It's I bought it. I bought it on the Switch 2, which apparently is somewhat new, I think. Well, the Switch 2 is also somewhat new.

**Bobby** (3:20)
Yeah.

**Steve Sarumi** (3:21)
I think it just came out of the Switch 2 recently.

**Bobby** (3:25)
Are we switching over to a Minecraft podcast then?

**Steve Sarumi** (3:27)
No, I don't want that audience.

**Austin** (3:30)
And that's fair.

**Steve Sarumi** (3:32)
Do not want that audience. You know, the best part about doing the Minecraft ad is when I finished it. And then I saw the little payout of like, thanks for streaming. It said, would you like to do a Minecraft ad? And I was like, yes, I will do it again.
I think this is a glitch in the system on Twitch's end, but I will do this Minecraft ad again.

If I could get paid to play Minecraft once a week forever, I guess I'm going to be playing Minecraft forever.
