Carton Show, Big Mac, I was just showing Big Mac, the L'Oreal model, walking the catwalk. Beautiful woman. Nice penis.

Back to football, though, it was the New York Jets season came to an end yesterday.

Chris McMonigle (0:20)

I didn't see that one coming.

Craig Carton (0:21)

And the Giants go to three and one. Arvo Ries, by the way, nine tackles in interception.

And by the way, later on, let's get to take some calls. I did read the Odell Beckham stuff. I'm sure you saw it also.

Chris McMonigle (0:33)

Yeah, I did.

Craig Carton (0:34)

Not thrilled.

SPEAKER_3 (0:35)

No, he's not happy.

Craig Carton (0:35)

Not thrilled with how the Giants treated him.

Chris McMonigle (0:37)

But that's a side story to that.

SPEAKER_3 (0:39)

And ironically, Braxton Berrios just put on the IR with a foot injury.

Chris McMonigle (0:42)

I saw that, yeah.

SPEAKER_3 (0:43)

So he's going to miss the next, I think it's four games, right? Or I don't know if they hit the eight game scenario. It doesn't matter. But he's gone for a while. And Odell Beckham Jr. was cut because they ran out of options to bring him up off the practice.

Craig Carton (0:55)

Right. So interesting. We're gonna sell it on six and phone calls here. Mo and Staten Island on the fan. Mo, good afternoon. How are you, sir?

Chris McMonigle (1:03)

I'm good. Good afternoon. I'm going to go on a bit of a rant and it's about this super power quote. I think it needs to be brought up more. He said, play calling is a superpower, but if I'm Ben Johnson after that game, I'm thinking I carried this guy into getting hired by the Jets and maybe it's because the Bears are a powerhouse, but they had an answer for everything. The Jets defends it and with a backup quarterback. Then when we finally had them backed up on third and like four, the lack of discipline shows up. From the vets, DeMare Davis and Sweatt jump offside. Offside, right. Forget Harbaugh, Salah would do a better job. Gates would do a better job. By the way, Salah did do a better job.

SPEAKER_3 (1:43)

I mean, if you're just going wins and losses, which is what we're talking about.

Chris McMonigle (1:46)

What's seven games with Zach Wilson?

SPEAKER_3 (1:49)

There's no, this is as bad as it gets. I mean, his record, he's four and 17

He's four and 17 They don't win football.

Craig Carton (1:57)

Did you see the person put out the thing that if you look at the New York Jets, four games into a season, you know, in the last, I think it's 12 seasons. The New York Jets have never had more than two wins after four games in more than a decade now.

Chris McMonigle (2:10)

It's unbelievable.

Craig Carton (2:10)

And here's the problem. The Chicago Bears are, look, they're a good football team for sure.

Chris McMonigle (2:16)

No doubt.

Craig Carton (2:16)

No one's going to deny that. It's such a, Caleb Williams comes back and they have one of the best young coaches in football. Everyone knows Ben Johnson is a nut and a rock star as a head coach. Well accepted. You know, coast to coast, right?

But the New York Jets are, I don't care what anyone says, you're going up against Tyson Bajent. You gotta figure out. Guy hasn't played football in years.

And I want to be clear, I'm not even saying I had an expectation of winning the game. But I did have an expectation, shame on me for thinking this way, that the New York Jets would be in the game. Like the reality is this, the final score of that game, kind of, look, the final score of the Giants game is not indicative of how close it was either. But the Giants won, so it doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_3 (3:00)

Should have won by a lot more.

Craig Carton (3:01)

Right, the New York Jets could have lost that game 60 to three, because that's how much they got dominated. That was men against boys yesterday.

SPEAKER_3 (3:12)

That's why...

Craig Carton (3:13)

And by the way, just real quick.

The Giants made a bunch of penalties you want to clean up, too. So I'm not saying any team is perfect, but we're finally getting turnovers. Got the force fumble, had four interceptions in the game. Only one counted, because of stupid penalties. So stupid penalties, bad defense couldn't stop the Bears offense the entire day, and especially in the fourth quarter, when they ran out of nine and a half minute drive to end the freaking football game. Mononga, Mononga, Mononga, right? Every play, yeah. And offensively, Frank Rack's got no clue what he's doing. No, because you only have Braylon Allen. How about you throw the football to Sadiqe and Gary Wilson?
