341, come get some. Carton Show with Big Mac, 888-808-119, the number to join that after. The fan line is sponsored by Verizon Business, helping small businesses make it big. Good to have you here. Obviously, lots of Jets and Giants. We'll get to some Yankee baseball chatter after 4 o'clock, after watching Cleveland do what they did to Tampa yesterday. Gotta make every Yankee friend out there just burn a little bit more, considering the Yankees were incapable of doing that. Giants coming up after 4 o'clock. Here's Big Duke in Westport, Connecticut, on the fan. Dookie, how are you, buddy?

SPEAKER_2 (0:36)

Oh, baby, has it been a while since I called you after a Jets win? Let's get fired up. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. We got the Patriots this week, baby.

Craig Carton (0:43)

J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets!

SPEAKER_2 (0:47)

Oh, Greggy, I was at the game this past Sunday in all of its reign and all of its glory, and that is what Jets Browns is meant to be about. Gritty, grindy, grimy, gross football, and most of all, the Jets coming out on top, baby. So I got one thing for you, Craig, I need your help.

Craig Carton (1:04)

Yeah?

SPEAKER_2 (1:05)

I wanna put a sleeper cell in the media for Vrabel to feast his eyes on and stay distracted all week, as we know that is his thing. And I seem to remember you have contacts in that, let's say, industry. They might be able to help us out. I'll let you put the pieces together. I've heard you interview some very fine females on the air. I was wondering if maybe Mr. Vrabel needs some company.

Craig Carton (1:30)

Well.

SPEAKER_2 (1:30)

Here come the Jets, baby. I'll talk to you soon.

Craig Carton (1:32)

Love it, Duke. I know the game is in New England, so it's a little bit harder for us to do things that we can accomplish here, obviously.

But I have given some consideration to having a number of Diana Rossini look-alikes show up in Foxboro, things of that nature.

Chris McMonigle (1:50)

You thought about that?

SPEAKER_2 (1:51)

Yeah, I've thought about it.

Craig Carton (1:52)

I've contemplated it. I want to distract the head coach.

SPEAKER_2 (1:56)

How do you do it?

Craig Carton (1:58)

Good looking brunette from New Jersey.

Chris McMonigle (2:00)

Yeah.

Craig Carton (2:01)

Right?

Chris McMonigle (2:01)

Should we buy everyone bring the pajamas he bought at the airport for his wife?

Craig Carton (2:06)

We're just still the craziest purchase of all time when you've been caught cheating. Yeah, how do you tell your wife you don't respect her at all outside of cheating on her is to buy her a, oh my God, I forgot to get her a gift gift from the airport.

Like, you put zero thought into that gift, and you needed to buy that woman a gift, something, and she's not stupid. Well, she knows where you got it. It said LaGuardia on it.

Chris McMonigle (2:38)

In all seriousness, though, he's a really good coach, and like, I'm worried that they found their way here.

Craig Carton (2:44)

I'm not worried about anything.

SPEAKER_2 (2:45)

I'm worried that. Drake Maye's a bad quarterback.

Chris McMonigle (2:47)

Yeah, I don't know.

Craig Carton (2:47)

They beat the Raiders. Oh, let me have a parade for them. No, thank you.

SPEAKER_2 (2:52)

I'll pass on that.

Chris McMonigle (2:52)

The Raiders are playing well. The Raiders went toe to toe with the Chiefs, and then they kicked their ass.

Craig Carton (2:57)

They did.

Chris McMonigle (2:58)

They did.

SPEAKER_2 (2:59)

I'm with you on that. I don't think it's going to be easy.

Chris McMonigle (3:01)

They're down their top wide receiver.

Craig Carton (3:03)

Correct.

SPEAKER_2 (3:04)

They also lost their left tackle.

Chris McMonigle (3:06)

They lost their left tackle. Henderson's hurt now with a high ankle sprain.

Craig Carton (3:09)

They're a beatable team. We know that.

Chris McMonigle (3:10)

No, they're a beatable team. You got to go get it done though.

Craig Carton (3:12)

Do I trust the Jets to come out and play great? Not yet. Do I think the Jets will play well? I do. Do I think the Jets can win the game? I do. Do I think it's going to be a low scoring defensive battle? I do. Yeah. I know it's a 7.5 point spread and people are reacting to that rightfully so much like you're reacting as you should to the Giants being underdog to the Saints because your brain doesn't make sense, right? I understand why the Patriots are favored. A touchdown? Well, maybe not. But I know they're coming up back to back, very impressive wins, which really save their season. But am I going to be shocked if there's five minutes to go in the fourth quarter and it's a one score game and I got the ball? No.
