Well, guess what? Dentists can sometimes spot health issues before physicians. I've had that happen in practice. Smile Generation is a community of experts who know that what happens to your mouth affects your entire body. It's called the mouth-body connection.

I love these guys. You might not realize it, but there are proven links between oral health and your heart and your brain. Bad oral health has been linked to long-term conditions like coronary disease, diabetes, Alzheimer's, pregnancy complications, even cancer.

Confidence comes from staying prepared. Smile Generation trusted dentists focus on modern patient-focused care that helps you stay on top of your health. I've met with these guys. I've talked to these guys. They are excellent. Don't put your health on pause. Visit Smile Generation. One word, smilegeneration.com/adam and Drew. Also one word. That's smilegeneration.com/adam and Drew to learn more about the mouth body connection and find a trusted provider near you.

Adam Carolla (1:54)

Yeah, get it on.

SPEAKER_7 (1:55)

Got to get it on.

Adam Carolla (1:56)

No choice but to get it on, man. Get it on. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks to our friend. We love that about you, Jeremiah Watkins, stand up comedian, filmmaker, actor back in the studio.

Let's see, when were you here last?

Jeremiah Watkins (2:14)

Been a minute, a few years, I think.

Adam Carolla (2:16)

Yeah, looking down, yeah.

Jeremiah Watkins (2:18)

Yeah, good to be back.

Adam Carolla (2:18)

COVID times. Yeah. Yeah, Crazy Pizza, the name of his special, it's out on his YouTube channel. It's very funny. I listened to all of it last night.

Jeremiah Watkins (2:27)

Oh, awesome.

SPEAKER_4 (2:28)

Thanks for checking it out.

Adam Carolla (2:30)

Yeah, I tell people, you watch a stand up special, but you don't really need to watch it. You can listen to it. Yeah.

I went on a walk for about an hour and 10 minutes last night. I just said, I'll just put it in the earbuds and walk. Great. It was great.

Jeremiah Watkins (2:48)

Happy to hear it's a good listen too.

Adam Carolla (2:49)

In a weird way, I think you get a little more of the material when you're just listening.

Jeremiah Watkins (2:54)

Sure. I'm very physical. So, there's an infamous story with-

originally, they didn't want to put Steve Martin on some record labels because he was such a visual act. Then his numbers were obviously, he went crazy platinum and stuff and they're like, you have any more of those visual guys?

Adam Carolla (3:17)

Yeah. It is interesting with the arrow through the head and all that stuff. Then you picture how that would translate into a vinyl album back in the day.

Jeremiah Watkins (3:28)

Yeah.

Adam Carolla (3:31)

I'll go back, but you can look it up, Andrew.

Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy. You may be too young to know those names.

Jeremiah Watkins (3:43)

Yeah, I don't know.

Adam Carolla (3:44)

Edgar Candice Bergen, the actress. Candice Bergen. That's her dad.

Jeremiah Watkins (3:48)

Okay.

Adam Carolla (3:48)

He's a ventriloquist, or he was. Charlie McCarthy was the name of his puppet.

And they started on radio, which is, I think all of us could be a ventriloquist on radio.

Jeremiah Watkins (4:02)

On radio, yeah. Not a problem. I could be a ventriloquist tomorrow on the radio, yeah.

Adam Carolla (4:05)

Right, but so they did, Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy started as, he as Edgar Bergen, as a ventriloquist on the radio. So I guess you call it theater of the mind. I don't know, but it could work, it could work for Edgar and it could work for Steve Martin.

Jeremiah Watkins (4:25)

Do you think there's any radio ventriloquist acts that got hired to do a live act later? They're like, oh, we gotta get our stuff together.
