College football is back, so Hilton called on me, the superstition concierge, to make your fan rituals a reality. Need a room to match your lucky number? We got you. Want to make sure our team doesn't wash your lucky jersey? Oh, that smells lucky.

Jägermeister knows that there's people who watch the game and people who know the game. Knowers know rivalries aren't heated. They're ice cold.

They know rankings change. Traditions don't. And they know that when you drink Jägermeister on game day, you drink it ice cold. Otherwise, you just don't know the game.

So drink it ice cold or don't drink it at all. Jägermeister, damn that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister liqueur, 35% alcohol by volume. Imported by Mass Jägermeister US, Wide Plains, New York.

Alex Golesh, as he does every single week, spoke to the media.

And as he is asked every single week, he was asked questions about the offensive line and the offensive guard competition specifically. Let's listen to what Alex Golesh had to say about his offensive guard spot, and we'll be right back.

SPEAKER_2 (3:50)

You know, we saw Wilson and Jack Lair get some reps early. How competitive are those two guard spots still going into SEC play?

Alex Golesh (3:58)

Yeah, Peter, I would tell you every spot is uber competitive, and that's across the team. Like, we're competing at every single spot, every single day. I think Hoodie's done a good job in that room of creating an urgency daily, an urgency through every part of what these guys are doing. And if it ain't what it's supposed to be, then another guy is going to get an opportunity. At the same time, if another guy deserves an opportunity, he's going to get an opportunity. I know I said that in camp.

We're going to keep competing. And that's on the O-line, that's at every spot. We're going to compete and continue to find the best combination of guys that are doing it at a high, high level.
