We will go through these movies. What we're going to do, since it's illegal for us to play any of the audio from the actual Academy Awards, we'll watch it. We'll get our impressions. We'll make our notes. And then we'll come back and check in periodically. So first, we'll watch the opening.

Doesn't Kimmel run this network? Can't you get around that?

We'll put it on pause. And then we'll give you our impressions of the opening. And then we'll go all the way through. And speaking of Oscars, we just got back from Kevin Costner's house, which was un-GD believable. That guy has himself some acreage up around Santa Barbara, Ventura County. And you want to talk about a paradise for kids. I mean, zip lines and trails to the ocean and dirt bikes and soccer balls and a never-ending field.
I was out there playing catch with Costner. And as I was telling Bryan before the show, the guy has a cannon for an arm. Six-year-old dude doing a little bit of that move where you whip it in with a little extra velocity just to let the young pod douche know who's in charge.

Also, he knows this guy's got a podcast and a microphone and he's going to tell the story.

**Adam Carolla** (4:00)
At a certain point, he started drifting back. And he kept drifting back. And he said, what do you think? How far away do you think I am from that cone? That's Dawson Coffin in the background. And never smoke, kids. And I said, you're 50 to 55 yards away from this cone. There's a couple of cones out there that are selectively set because there's a couple of water mains and things coming up from the ground that a kid would impale themselves on when they're whipping around on their dirt bikes around this sort of never-ending field that just looks like a huge park several acres big. And he stood back and he didn't get a running start. He just took one step and he chucked the ball in the air 55 yards. And it was a, it got there.
