And they don't have air conditioning and they rented an Airbnb and it has like three portable air conditioners. But the French are like now, it's becoming a thing where they just are not gonna give an inch on this air conditioning issue, I think.

They're digging in their heels. They're like, not for us.

And you Americans are crazy. It's like the same ice issue I have in Italy when I ask for ice and they give you two cubes. And I'm like, no, no, pack the whole glass with ice and then give you the Coke Zero next window. So now I'm going back and forth with my Airbnb, which is a charming Airbnb, obviously. You can see if you're watching beautiful Airbnb and a great and drawsman having time of my life here. But they put the portable air conditioners in like three of the seven rooms or something.
So like a third of the place is air conditioning. These things are completely underpowered. It's 98 degrees outside. And then, you know how it has the exhaust? Yeah. They just opened the door windows, threw the exhaust out, but left the rest of the window open.

The hot air is coming in. We're trying to put the curtain around the hot air. It is hilarious.
But I have learned a distinct lesson, which is, I mean, we have global warming. Whether humans are creating it or it just happens to be a fluke, I don't want to get into it. But air conditioning is an incredible modern innovation.

Not even that, but before our time. It was like the 1950s when the movie theaters were like, come in, it's air conditioned. So they've had a while. They've had a while to get on.

And then Lon, here's the other thing. Here's your other tip. You go to a restaurant and they don't have air conditioning. I just went to Starbucks.

They don't have air conditioning. Starbucks has a portable air conditioning unit, so the doors are closed, it's swelteringly hot inside, and they've got an air conditioning pretending that it's doing something.

I didn't put the dog confit. I had an incredible dog confit. And then I had the chicken with morels at my favorite restaurant in Paris, Le Poule aux Pots. It is the chicken in a pot. But they also happened to have a chicken with morels. Last time I was at that restaurant, it was like 15 years ago, me, David Sacks, and the wives went there and had this incredible chicken with morels at the end of the morels season, fancy mushrooms.
