What is going on, everyone, that is watching this new episode of the REIPRENEURS Podcast. So if you feel you are a great entrepreneur, you're getting into entrepreneurship, or you have scaled already a business, and you're an entrepreneur, then you are an REIPRENEUR. You own houses, or you're doing wholesaling, you're doing flipping, you do it in creative financing, even you do Airbnb, or land, or mobile, you are an REIPRENEUR. And in this episode, we're gonna go over a story of someone that works with us currently at one of our companies at Hesel Media, and we're gonna go over how he actually grew from going to just serving, just doing bartender, and actually growing a multi-six-figure company in here in the United States. And obviously, he went through a lot of the different steps that an entrepreneur needs to go working on his mindset, and COVID hit him hard, which a lot of people, for COVID, COVID was a blessing for a lot of us, right?
For me, it helped me start my business. For him, it was a very similar story. So we're gonna go over and meet Jason, and Jason is a current client of ours. He uses meta advertising to generate leads and other methods. I've actually met him, I've seen him in a few coaching programs. Best reminds, we've had a conversation in the past.
He currently has been with us for several months now, and he has a great relationship with our team at Hustle Media. I'm gonna bring him in here on stage. All right, what's going on, brother? How's everything going?
Jason Cordoba (1:38)
Good, man. Thank you for having me. I appreciate it.
Esteban Andrade (1:41)
I love the hat, man. You're doing a free sponsor into acquisition.com.
Jason Cordoba (1:46)
Shout out to my guy Alex.
Esteban Andrade (1:47)
Your guy Alex, right? I actually went to their office a few weeks ago, and I have two more pending calls with them on quarter one, or quarter two, quarter one actually. Because they're always, I don't know if you know, but they have workshops, and you should attend at some point. But these workshops literally help you dissect your constraints as a business, and you do it with their team and everything. Then they make you go through the workshop, and then at the end, they sell you something at the end, which allows you to be in the pool of potential companies that they would invest on.
So it's very interesting, man. Well, let's talk about you. I'd love to talk more about who Jason Cordoba is. You've been with us for a couple months now. You've been generating leads, you know, remotely, across different counties around the United States.
I wanna get a little bit more of the details.
So before you built a multiple six-figure business, what is it that was your life like? Like before you got into entrepreneurship and you became an REIPRENEUR, and then now you have a team, and now you have, you know, an income that more than 95% of people in the United States would never have. So let's talk about that. You're also very young, too. How old are you?
Jason Cordoba (3:15)
I'm 25
Esteban Andrade (3:16)
There you go, you're 25 too. And you started this a few years ago. So I want to know what was that life like before?
Jason Cordoba (3:25)
Yeah, so before everything, I was, I went to college at the University of Connecticut. I was majoring in actuarial science, which nobody ever knows what that is. But basically, it's just like statistics apply to mathematics and finance on like one, specifically for insurance purposes, like insurance. I did an internship at MetLife, which is like a Fortune 50 company, right? So I was already on track to making it, to doing exactly what I wanted to do. I went for actuarial science. I got an internship at a super prestigious internship at a Fortune 50 I was doing the work and it was in office. And I just realized, I did two years of that and realized that 9 to 5, 9 to 5 in a cubicle, this just wasn't for me.
So at the same time, I was a bartender. That's how I paid for the college and everything like that. So I would go to college, I would go to college throughout the week, and then the weekends I would commute back to my hometown, work, and then just go back and forth.
I realized that I needed to do something different, where I had more control of my life, my income, and everything like that. And I feel like anytime somebody has that type of rendition, one of the first things that come to mind is real estate, right? You have the passive income, XYZ. So my goal then became to be a landlord, to have that passive income.
