Goes down the T with that serve. Djokovic gets it back in the play and hits the drop shot. But he cannot reach high enough to get that overhead. So Sinner holds to love, wins the match, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. That's a nice hug at the net.
And yeah, he is back in the Wimbledon final, hasn't dropped a set since the first round, and is looking dominant on serve, faced one breakpoint and saved it with an ace in this whole match, and served it out to love.

**SPEAKER_4** (2:16)
I feel like we've seen over the last three years, probably about 75% of the Sinner Djokovic, and Alkaaz Djokovic's match is a bit like today.
Feels like that. There's like the 25% which are, I think, I remember Novak beating Alkaaz in Australia about three years ago in four sets.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:42)
He can only do it in Australia.

**SPEAKER_4** (2:44)
Yeah, there was the one this year as well, wasn't there in five sets over Jannik.
I think you were right to highlight that five set match and also his path to the AO semi-finals and eventually final this year as being a factor. He may well highlight that. He expressed some optimism on Tuesday in his post-match interview that the extra day might help him. I did sort of subscribe to that, but today's showing he did look a little bit, he looked 10% worse than he did against Felix.

**SPEAKER_3** (3:20)
Yeah, I agree. Just moving a little worse, and obviously that makes a difference against Sinner.

**SPEAKER_4** (3:27)
What were your big factors apart from the physical side of it today for Sinner to win that?

**SPEAKER_3** (3:33)
I mean, the serve was just so good. His first serve was pretty untouchable. And on his second serve, Novak wasn't getting a lot of looks. And then on the flip side, Novak's second serve Sinner was reading it so well and just putting those returns in play and putting them in play in good spots too. So the second serve return was huge.

**SPEAKER_4** (3:53)
Do you think Novak could have done anything different or was it kind of already just decided before the match even began?

**SPEAKER_3** (4:01)
I mean, I was talking about this on the stream, but I think he was just going for too much on second serve returns. Like he was missing a lot of them long or wide. And I just was like, just get the return in play and then get into a rally because the point was over before it even began.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:20)
Yeah.
Although that may also be the factor behind maybe some physicality issues that he may or may not be. I mean, just trying to shorten the points, for example, is obviously a classic when you're feeling it physically. Were there any sort of points as well that stood out for you? Because I don't really remember any sort of sense. The match point was kind of curious in that, actually, I think Novak probably should have won that. And maybe if there was more on the line than being 40 love down, maybe Novak does win it. It was interesting to talk about the drop shot, although actually it wasn't a bad drop shot.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:57)
No, it was a very good one, and most players wouldn't have gotten to it.
