We spent a lot of time talking about what happens on the field, but what about everything that has to happen before anyone can play on it? The grass has to be grown, the stadium has to be built, the goalposts have to be welded. That's the work of tradespeople committed to getting every detail right. And Carhartt is proud to outfit those people, the crews making football possible. So this season, when you're watching the game, take a second to think about the people behind it. This episode is brought to you by Nationwide. Everyone knows that to win in fantasy, you need players that can be so much more. The QB that can throw for 400 yards and rush for a touchdown, the defense that can snag a pick six, or the running back who can also bring in 15 receptions. It's like how Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies, too.
Now, that gets the start. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio.
Featured in today's episode of The Ringer Fantasy Football Show, Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, Caleb Williams, AJ Brown, Aaron Rodgers and Todd Bowles together, Kirk Cousins-Ora, Marvin Harrison Jr., Ben Johnson and Sean Payton together, Luther Burden, Adam Gase, Ariana Grande, Winona Ryder, Dan Quinn, Kyle Shanahan and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. All that coming up after the break.

Welcome to The Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz, and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck, and we were going over all the games for week six of the NFL season, starting with a bunch of quarterback questions.
Like, I feel like Lamar might be back, Caleb Williams and Michael Pennings might be playing, might not, but I want to start with the Panthers or at the Philadelphia Eagles. And it turns out that Jalen Hurts is not going to play in the game this week because he has a superficial blood clot in his calf.
Danny Kelly (2:54)
Right.
Danny Heifetz (2:55)
Which we all know what that means, right, Craig?
Craig Horlbeck (2:57)
Superficial, yes. I texted a really lame joke to the group chat, and I said, you could say it's very veiny, V-A-I-N-Y, superficial, veiny, D-K.
Danny Heifetz (3:08)
You get it.
Craig Horlbeck (3:10)
I don't know what that means. He also had it last week when they played in London, but then they said he was fine. He wasn't on the injury report, and it wasn't reported. He had a calf injury because he got cleated the week before that. But then he plays in the game with the blood clot. Everything's fine. And they check him again this week. Blood clot has moved a little bit, so they shut him down. And now we don't know how long he's going to be out.
Danny Heifetz (3:30)
So we're doing a stat per game. Can I give you a definition instead of a stat?
Danny Kelly (3:34)
Yes.
Danny Heifetz (3:35)
So my definition, I went to, you know, why call a doctor when you could just go to WebMD? That's what I say.
Danny Kelly (3:41)
It's just as good.
Danny Heifetz (3:42)
Health care is expensive.
Just Google your symptoms. It's fine. So WebMD told me that this is a blood clot. It's called thrombofibitis.
Danny Kelly (3:54)
That called me in high school.
Danny Heifetz (3:56)
Big thrombofibitis.
Danny Kelly (3:57)
That was almost as good as Craig's, Danny.
Craig Horlbeck (3:58)
Big thrombofibitis.
Danny Heifetz (4:02)
So it's a blood clot in the vein just below the surface of your skin. So the superficial just means it ain't that it's literally superficial.
And it doesn't usually get to your lungs, but superficial thrombofibitis can be painful and you may need treatment. However, if it's superficial migratory thrombofibitis, that is a type of recurring clot that moves around among veins close to the surface of your skin. That could affect your arms, legs or trunk. And I thought it was really funny that they wrote trunk.
