Observe, the North American dad, 50s, great polo collection. He enters his vehicle information on Carvana. An offer appears in minutes. Remarkable. He squints, reads it again, smiles and says, dang, that's a good offer. The highest form of approval. No haggling, no hassle, no one called him boss.

He's still on the couch. Astonishing. Sell your car today on carvana.com.

Pick up, fees may apply.

Lisa Bilyeu (0:33)

What up, my homies? This is Lisa Bilyeu and you are listening to another episode of Women of Impact. And let's just cut straight to it, shall we? Because how the hell do you really know if the person next to you is dangerous? Now I don't mean like, oh, it's kind of bad for you or like somewhat toxic. I'm actually talking dangerous in a way that can turn your whole life upside down for ever.

Fear not though, because I'm bringing in the absolute fricking real deal, a homie of mine, Mr. Paul Holes. And he is the guy that called the Golden State Killer, because when it comes to actually spawning what's deadly versus what just looks normal, no one's fricking sharper than him. He's the number one detective and he's here breaking down three cases that are tearing through the headlines right now that we women must pay attention to because they are a red flag, a warning sign, a big red flashing light in front of us to pay attention.

And it's bringing up the question that we always have, how the fricking hell did no one see it coming? Now, here's what we're going to get into that will change the way that you see things. First, we touch on the hidden signs that you actually might be sleeping next to a narcissist or even worse, I'm going to say psychopath, a sociopath, but either way, they could be seriously dangerous and you just don't realize. We also go into the subtle ways that control, isolation and emotional manipulations show up long before it becomes physical and what to actually do when you spot them. Then we freaking dive into the heartbreaking Gabby Petito case and her mom comes and joins us so that she can give her first-hand experience on the signs that we all missed, the red flags that got freaking downplayed. If you haven't heard the story, we watch the body cam footage of the police pulling Gabby and her boyfriend over.

And we see the subtle ways that control can creep in before tragedy even hits. And it's not just us women. They can fool and manipulate and control the most elite experts, the police, the investigators. This is why we gotta talk about it because it's just gotta stop. This isn't a TV drama. These are real fricking women. These are real cases, real damn red flags and real lives lost because they didn't have the fricking tools, the backup or frankly, the permission to trust their own alarm bells. So if you've ever actually thought, I can't happen to me, I'm telling you, my homie, you need to listen closer. The signs are right there. And today with the man who found monsters hiding in plain sight, we lay it all out. So let's dive in because this episode could literally save a life, yours are someone that you love. So let's dive in right now to Women of Impact.

Mr. Paul Holes, you were the famous detective who caught the Golden State Killer, an extremely dangerous man who hid for decades. So today we're going to go through three of the most chilling cases making headlines right now.

SPEAKER_3 (3:37)

Gabby Petito was beaten and ends up dead.

SPEAKER_1 (3:41)

Rex Heuerman admitting that he strangled to death eight young women.

SPEAKER_4 (3:45)

As the tragic death of Micah Miller continues, the spotlight remains on her husband, John Paul Miller.

Lisa Bilyeu (3:52)

But first, I have to ask you, for every single woman watching this, could she be sleeping next to a psychopath and not even know it?

Paul Holes (4:00)

Women can most certainly fall under the spell of these predators. And many of them are very, very good at appearing normal. And that's the scary part. You know, I have a picture of this guy, this wild Bill Huff. He's a serial killer and he looks like the boogeyman. I think most women would go, yeah, he's scary looking.

But by and large, you know, these predators are average, ordinary looking guys. They could be successful in life. They could be married. They could have kids, right? And even if you're an intimate partner with this person, you don't know what is actually going on inside them because they compartmentalize.

And this is where you get into somebody like a Rex Heuerman who's married, but his wife, at least the saying, she had no idea that he was killing women. Yeah.
